Rampworx played host to The Chaz Sands Invitational for the 2nd year running. With over 150 competitors from 19 different countries it was sure to be an epic event, and it didnt disappoint.

I was there, I think (without being French) that the anglo-american bias against French riders has become ridiculous in international comps: Godenaire, Abrate, Cudot, Alfano, Avella.
Roman Godenaire should’ve placed 2nd. No question about it.

chihiro is really good! i kinda knew she was gonna give jenna trouble with those 9s…
how did fallon skate? jenna had homefield advantage but i might have expected fallon to grab 3rd
and i couldn’t see what happened to brandon, is he OK after that crash? other dude didn’t look so good, hope he’s ok too

this was a sick weekend but i didnt enjoy it much
i mean the riderlist was fucked up….
no aragon no haffey no Stefan Horngacher, fabio enes wasnt there al hooi didnt show god knows where fallon heffernan was i didnt even see erik bailey put his skates on franky morales didnt even skate the comp, murda wasnt there, oh yeah and what about brian shima montre and the rest of the nimh team?
and romain godenaire who did a 630 front farve and 630 back royale on the huge quater and a shit load of other sick tricks didnt even get top 3

I hear franky and murda were injured and haffey is on tour in Australia, apart from that, exactly what i was going to say, plus the fact the guy with the mic had it to close and was shouting so no one understood him, Broskow didn’t skate until his run, then he spent half of it on the mini doing stalls, the speakers there couldn’t handle the music so all the dubstep (which was played non-stop saturday) sounded horrible.
Why the fuck were BMXer’s, scooters and boarders aloud in the park on friday?!
Why were all 3 comps on the same day?! finishing at 21:00 :|
ANDDD why the fuck did the rampworx staff do nothing to stop all the mouthy bikers on the sunday session? they were perpously sitting in the way, although it was funny when aaron turner knocked one of them off their bikes going for a grind on the big quatre when they were doing a train[:
On a positive note CJ was sick, i think the best bit for me was when me and my friend were standing next to him when romain was about to go for a grind and CJ was saying ‘ eat it, eat ittt’ to himself, then looked at us and laughed hahaaaaa

Rob Dobbie: Agree with you there. Riderlist was deceitful. False advertising. The only thing that saved the comp from disaster was CJ.
