Chase : Edit by Erik Huber

Check out this edit by Erik Huber and Dough Urquhart.
In the edit Julian Bah chases Adam Ehalt through the streets of Atlanta. Julian Bah is a security guard and has to catch skaters.
The edit is normaly to find in the bonus section of Barely Dead, so it is hopefully uploaded by the real Erik Huber.

it’s great but it looks like a very slow chase by parts. it’d be amazing if a bit quicker. and let’s face it no one could loose bah in that kind of chase!

and julian could really be in the movies, he’s such an edgy character! :)

How original is it really?

I now know why skaters skate and not act.
I felt like I just watched Brink 2, Shredd the Gnar.

NOt so bad:-) THe concept was nice, but theris alot of mistake inn it.
BIg mistakes.IF the camera man go to studi somethings about filming it will be nice next time.the First is some wone go tho another palce ina film,You must folow his way.IF the first snit he go from right to left, the nother snit must folow this way.Lots of people mist this simle thing.
Like a man come from right to jump arail, and the silde from another camera is from left to right.
So if you filming skateing.look for this,if you film behind a rail dont film from the nother side of it,cause its turned the way.
So i like the concept of this move,But the filming and editing is a very amateur work.So i say for this guys, read some books or something about film astetic,to knew some intresting and important law about film makeing.
You are ont he begining of a good way.Read pracitc and peace:-)

not bad. pretty cool, but in a way it doesn’t make much sense because you’d think that one rollerblader wouldn’t chase down another and turn him in. I almost expected a twist ending or something.. whatever.. still cool. nonetheless, go buy the barely dead dvd. pz.

December 21st, 2006 at 9:17 pm
That was sick! this is the kind of stuff that people who dont rollerblade should watch
December 21st, 2006 at 9:36 pm
we filmed so many more parts to the chase but they were edited out. wallrides over water fountains, spinny cess slides under ropes, craazy

That Brad Bruce Peniless profile sucked anyway. It didn’t have anywhere near the quality of this.
December 21st, 2006 at 11:55 pm
Penniless was done SEVERAL years ago. Just saying I feel like there might have been a little biting going on.
This edit was just plain cheese. Gimme a break. A bimmer? C’mon! Was he supposed to be “rollin’ deep” as the kids say these days? HA!
The film quality was great. Post was great. It can’t be said that the idea was “original” though.
Blah.

the edit was hot as hell but the PJ shit wasn’t thats real life for some people
December 22nd, 2006 at 4:50 am
The concept is amazing. Just how they rolled through the streets made skating really seem like an art. It kinda reminded me of that game Jet Grind Radio series with the chasing. It was just really slick and iono a lot about film but i enjoyed it. That right there makes me feel special about being a rollerblader cuz that shit right there demands attention, a skate boarder couldnt do that. Its funny though cuz i hate to see it done in action movies and shit cuz it just looks cheap. Julian made it look authentic.

lool nice!!

Amazing, i love the editing and the idea. Tricks are also hot!
Good job!
December 22nd, 2006 at 10:03 pm
this was made for a school project btw. whether or not the idea is original really wasn’t the point.
December 22nd, 2006 at 11:15 pm

December 23rd, 2006 at 10:47 am
