On the 18th of December 2011, Bay 66 Skatepark in London held one of their bi-annual Capital Clash jams and this time the Capital Clashmas brought a very welcomed winter congregation… Wishing a very merry Clashmas to one and all!
Blake Bird organized a build the week before the comp to add a few surprises to the course, bringing the additions of a burly angle iron drop ledge and the feared ‘Ho Ho Ho’ T-Bar over the wall ride.
Despite the SUB ZERO temperature the park saw a fantastic turn out, with friendly faces from all over the UK.
Oliver Sudden kept everyone warm by spinning some old school classics to keep the feet moving, Joey’s mum put on a beautiful Irish hot pot and served teas and coffees all day which was one of the busiest spots at the event as you can imagine!
The riders at the event battled on through the bitter cold into the darkness, hammers were dropped all over the park and caught on camera by Tom Sharman, Jordan Maders, Dom West, Diogo Atidini, Tim Darker, Neil Ingall and Albert Hooi.
Cut & chopped by Neil Ingall and Tom Sharman.
