Released in 2011, Ground Control came to define a years worth of achievement from the blading community. Featuring a strong roster of talent from the team itself and directed by Simon Mulvaney, this film documents the story of the frames beneath the feet of each of the GC team.

As usual on Frenchy Fries, here’s a compilation of clips aged in oak barrels, a serious blend of several single malts from 59760, 59240 and 3000, all put together into what couldn’t really be considered a profile, but a best-of of one of my childhood heroes instead. I present to you Kevin Duverger, AKA DJ DSCDP DISCODOPE nowadays. Full Article on Frenchy Fries.

On Saturday April 27th, Sic Urethane put together a session at the new skate park in McKinney, Texas for the release of Josh Glowicki’s new wheel. Here’s a look at some of what went down.

I just bought a DJI Phantom this week and took my first couple of flights around the neighbourhood with my GoPro Hero 3 Black attached to its undercarriage Unfortunately Holland is very windy, which made it hard to get smooth images right off the bat.
I also filmed a small session with Edwin Wieringh, Hans Hardonk and Roel Verhoeven on Amsterdam’s newest skatespot, the Wittedewithstraat Curb. Here I shot some extra footage using a Canon 5d MarkII and the GoPro Hero 2.

These were my first times going up with this new little camera helicopter, and while filming a church in Ransdorp the heavy wind took the Phantom right out of my sights, but luckily the ‘return to home function’ worked perfect.
It did give me a few moments of cold sweat though. I can’t wait to improve my flying skills, and start flying on some really hard to reach spots! My partner in crime Axel van Dijk has also just purchased the DJI Phantom, so expect much more fly edits to come soon. – Remy Cadier.
Song: Mono/Poly – Needs Deodorant.
Alex Wick is beast! This kid is always down to shred and always trying new things on his skates. Had alot of fun making this edit with him. Sorry we didn’t get it out sooner though! Hopefully it gets the hype it deserves, there is some serious stunts in this section!

Just last year we tried to release a skate video under the title “Those Left”. Needless to say it didn’t work out. I will be uploading 2 sections every 2 weeks for the next 2 months!
Hope everyone enjoys the shreddin! Look out for more tricks from Alex in the Intro coming later this week as well as the montages releasing shortly! – Max Manning.
