Rollerblade Estilo Prototypes: lot of photos (FF Shop).

PLEASE NOTE: the skates are prototypes and are not the FINAL product!

There will be changes added to the SOLO system that will come with a GROOVE, and the liner will be a lot better.

I have tried them on (perfect size for me) and i can tell you ONE thing.. this is the NEXT level in skates! The system works perfect! They could protect the second buckle a little bit more or try a new system for buckle there..

But thats about it for flaws! This skate is superlight, superstrong, fits like a glove (no kidding!).. if you see them in person.. LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!!

Check the photos of the Rollerblade Estilo Prototypes.

Super Inline 720 Skates Let SK8Rz Go Sideways & Spin

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Before hell freezes over, let’s try a bit of in-line skating, but these skates offer more than that.

Strap on a pair of Kian Khuan’s 720 inline skates, and a whole new dimension is laid out before us, because these super inline skates not only go forward and backward like any others, but can also spin 360 degrees in place and even roll sideways.

Try that with a pair of ice skates. Since these 720s aren’t for sale yet, we may have to wait for the spring thaw before we bang up our knees and elbows with them. […]

Thanks Roscoe. More infos on Gizmodo.

Nick Lomax: USD Pro Realm prototype (skate first day)

Friday, March 21st, 2008

Nick received the very first samples of his pro realm skate at the Winterclash, their not the final versions, but Kingdom brings you an exclusive sneek peek into what one of the UK’s hottest skaters is designing right now.

They were two sizes too small, but obviously Nick couldn’t contain himself and had to give them a jig, so here is his first 20 minutes at Kingston’s outdoor park. Keep your eyes open for the final product and release dates, and support one of your own!!

Via Kingdom Mag.

We decided to document the first 20 minutes or so, till they started hurting as their 2 sizes too small.

Filmed by Adam Kola and Scott Hallows. When their completed Part 2 will be here soon!

ECS Hardware
up: able frame h-blocks

Check (lots of) pictures & videos related to this post on the dedicated topic in the forums. Thanks Sentinel.

Ok before you post judgment on the frame wait till you see the actually video and review and features and explanation on the frame.

The video goes indepth on what makes the frame different. These pictures are just a brief look at what its possibly going to look like and some of the features that it has.

That is until the video is rendering right now so check back proably 3 hours and the video should be up. Now the bolt that you see on the frame are just holding it together just so you can get an idea of what its going to look like.

The actuall bolt for the frame are 8mm bolts similar to the older groundcontrol bolts. the bolts that bolt the frame together are smaller bolts custom bolts. The bolts are on the way from the machine shop that is making them so soon as they come in ill show you. Now the wheel holes obviously on the fram have not been drilled yet mainly because were trying to figure out the design for the custom spacers.

Note that the frame will be customizable to the extent ov its very look and even its ride. In another words you will be able to interchange parts on the frame to make to 4 wheel compatible or even 5 wheel compatible for those who like to boost large airs in the vert ramp while still being capable of freestyle as well. This frame project has been based mostly of the ideas of Shane and I have been throwing around. […]
