if the next blow to my head could kill me, i wouldn’t skate again -period.
i don’t even think a helmet would save you if your previous injury was that severe to your head, would stop it bleeding etc.. but the shock would and force would stil be there, right?

Listen people!! yeah no helmet.. I talked to the doctor and he said it’s fine as long as I’m not dropping far or jumping high. My Brain and my Skull are healed 100% I could take the same fall I did when I injured it and would have a bigger chance of dying but it’s not 100% death. This happening in my life has taught me a lot and I’ve matured in my rollerblading. so at park I’m without a helmet unless I’m doing something beyond what I think is easy. I’m always with a helmet on street where you have to jump above your knee. so no worries friends!! haha
just worry that I can’t skate with my left foot on most tricks cause I have a bad ankle now. so I’m mostly a righty

Yea, he’s been back skating for a while. I talked to Adam Brierley about Cameron a while back and Adam had mentioned that Cameron was back and loving rollerblading more than ever.
Rollerblading is like a drug. Its addicting. Once you are a rollerblader and get serious with it, you just grow to love it so much. No matter what you do for the rest of your life, rather it be rollerblading or not. WE find ourselves always classifying ourselves as Rollerbladers.
Tis an addiction that will stick for life. A good addiction that is.
Rollerblading is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I couldn’t imagine not being a rollerblader.
Cameron is addicted to rollerblading just as much as us. And a head injury wasn’t going to keep him back from getting his fix. Haha
GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK AND SKATING CAMERON!

I’ll say this. For those who bitch about the fact that we’re saying he should be wearinga helmet. You guys are the most selfish muthafuckas alive. Cameron. People aren’t haters and it’s sad that you’ve let the words of a few dick heads sway your vision of what’s being said to you. Cameron those who are “pressuring” you to wear a helmet me included only say so cause we actuallly care about your life, more than your skating. What if the doctor is wrong, what if it just takes you doing a royale on something small and smacking your head a little bit for you to pass. That helmet would’ve stopped the pressure and impact from that fall.
Rollerblading is a drug but It doesn’t have to be heroin, it can be weed. If you understand the severity of the two drugs. I wear my helmet after I read about Josh, I’ve been wearing one for a while now all the time cause I don’t want to be like cameron and fucking go into a coma or worse off of a back royale. I actually want to see life after skating. I’m sure that once you who think it’s gay to say “wear a helmet” and when Cameron gets older, he’ll understand that it’s not about the law or the look but it’s about the safety that especially for him wearing one will bring. Fact. Bruce Lee’s doctors said that he would never walk again let alone be able to perform any martial arts moves. This is right before he created Jeet Kun Do. Doctors are wrong way more than they want you to know. So just play it safe.You skull never heals 100% you just feel better. The brain is one of the only things in your body that once you mess it up, it can’t heal back. If it could then have you gotten any of your memories of those days when you first came into the hospital or when you actually did fall?

i know for a fact if that happend to me id be wearing my helit everytime i strap on my skates, not just for me and my own safty but too stand up and be a roll model and say yeah sadly people have died but iv been through it all and was so lucky to be alive so wear a helit like me coz i know how it effects everyone who eva known me. to be honest you can fall over jumping in to mini ramps like that and slip hit your head no matter how good you are. well its your own life and i hope you live a long and good one. just remember all thos doctors and nurses who help you along the way.

As a friend of Cameron’s that is blading with him on a regular basis, I can understand your contempt for him not wearing a helmet. I asked him about it the first time I saw him without his helmet and told him I thought he should wear it. He told me the same thing he is telling all of you. I respect his freedom to do as he sees fit, I don’t say, “Fuck him, fucking idiot, bullshit, etc” You all should do the same, state your opinion in kind, understanding words and accept his decisions just as you know your friends respect your decisions.

Doesn’t matter what the doctor says. After you give a speech about how important helmets are, you should really stick to the image.
It was a lot cooler to see you stand up for something you found new importance for then deciding since you’re healed it doesn’t matter as much. Show kids that skating can still look good with a helmet on. Especially right after the Josh incident.
At least get one of the beanie-helmets that are coming out, then you wont have to worry about feeling out of place when you skate.
