Honestly I am really glad to see you´re back! Skating with a helmet was a good idea before that crash too, but maybe now he´ll make people think about wearing one since he has very good arguments for it…

I don’t know. I think that a lot of these guys are actually selfish simply cause they love to watch you skate. I understand the draw and passion that comes when you’ve been doing this sport for so long but the passion for life should be far greater. I respect your decision to go back into skating as a pro but I find it awfully dangerous for you health wise since you came so close to death the first time. Right there I see you without your helmet on in the pic and I know that you’ll be wearing one but maybe you should invest in a helmet that can truly take the pounding that you need to protect your skull from any impact. That’s me being a christian man not a blader right now. I value your life over your love for this lifestyle.

…if the greatest threat to your life is not death but the loss of what makes you enjoy your life then maybe you´ll understand why people continue after almost leathal accidents.
I was close to dying more than once in my life and it just made me learn that you´re always on the edge no matter if you take risks or not. My lil brother got hit by a car (70 km/h) on his way back from town and he survived and recovered completely. I got several illnesses that demand constant medication so I won´t faint or die from neural-malfunction..but hey, Im still alive and I as long as Im breathing there is nothing that could stop me from going my way. You see, miracles and reality mix and there´s no way you can calculate them.
You´ll all see that life isn´t about the amount of time you manage to have it, but about the way you used the little time you´re given.
Oh yeah..Im not an 18 year old rebel or something. Im not an atheist either. Im just not scared anymore.
But still: WEAR A HELMET!!!

Yeh I can relate to your opinion Lukas entirely, out of all the comments on here about death and religion and how one should be, I can relate to yours the most.
I have no time to listen about people argue about who wrote the bible first and this and that, because the truth is no one who is alive today really knows because none of them could have been there when which ever people wrote this bible actually did it, so its just beliefs against beliefs like always.

Booby. You’re a fucking liar. If you did know Richard then you would have agreed since he died from a head injury if I’m not mistaken. I actually skated with him when he first came to visit American when he still rode for Bauer in Georgia. He was a very nice guy. So now we have Richard, the other 36 bladers and now this new cat who died from yet again another head injury. Booby, you’re full of youself, and apparently have never seen anyone bleeding from the skull from a fall or ever seen someone having a seizure right in front of you pissing on themselves and shaking cause they hit their head. the human body asshole is delicate in case you didn’t know. My friend hit his head attempting a 360 back savy off the brick wall at Hawthorne skatepark and now this cat who is one of the sickest riders I know of is 19 with cracked skull which if he hits again will die. Skating isn’t worth it. There’s other things to do that don’t involve risking your life as much if you’re in that boat. honestly we should all wear a helmet. I’m sure Cameron wouldn’t be in this situation if he was wearing one but all of us don’t wear them. Regardless of why. We don’t

In regards to the talk about God. time magazine and the history channel have been doing research into this for the longest time. The events in the bible really did happen and there’s physical proof to back it all up. I guess God knew that some of his children would be bold enough to not call him father and claim he didn’t exist. Regardless this came up cause of the fact that I said what would his family think and that he had to believe in Christ since he’s mormon. Bottom line. I’m 30 years old and have given 5 years to the study of religions, their origins, the occult, symbols of the occult and cross referenced it with symbols of organized religions. I know a lot about the history and practices of Catholicism as well as Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islamic, Wiccan, Voodoo, Satanism of all kinds and atheist as well as Scientology and in between. Blading has all different types in it and all types of religions in it but one thing that remains constant is that it’s normally been a favor to stay away from religion in our media. I’m not trying to bring it up which is why it’s so funny that someone would try to start an argument dealing with such a touchy topic. By the way I also know about The Davinci Code 3r. Actually it was proven on the history channel as well as by very know scientist that the guy ian brown who wrote it is an atheist and also crazy. The events he discussed never happened in the way that he described. The Bible wasn’t written in 300 B.C. there were different translations written throughout history but the bible was actually written and told throughout generations of Hebrews and Christians. The Dead Sea Scrolls which are over 2700 years old are in the bible and talks about God, They were found near the middle east. Goliaths body was actually found as well and his skull was the size of a man. Evidence of the bible aren’t coincidences but facts. Regardless of your religious beliefs though we nor I made that statement to bring up a topic of argument. It’s to show that he believes in a higher power that he believes in and that he has to think about how his family would deal with his loss if it were worse than it was.
