i aggree with the haters to a certain extent. brett has got some tricks but throwing your hands up everytime you land something is stupid. your whole tml 2 section you throw your hands up after you land like your the shit. almost every trick…. and then in the bonus you put an edit of yourself that was also solo filmed and you do the same shit… that is wack and on top of that, half of that video including bonus was you man… its your video. thats not cool man. im just saying obviously you dig yourself way too much and its fucking obvious in your skating. your good but learn some shit from theses coments don’t just blame it on RN and say everyone is stupid on here… yeah everyone gets hate but also almost everyone in the rollerblading industry visits this website daily.

I personally think Brett is one of the best new faces in rollerblading. I love watching him skate. Brett is amazing at rollerblading. One thing that i really don’t understand is how everyone is talking about how there are better people out there that should ride for usd. There are tons of really good kids out there but few make rollerblading look good and sell me the products that they rep. I would much rather see a topsoul by someone that makes it look good than any 540 to grind by some random awkward styled kid. Just like it might make some of you upset that a kid who, in your mind, isn’t the best one out there get sponsored, for me it is disappointing to see all these edits of kids that are on flow for companies and all they are doing are the latest tech trick down a typical rail. its just not fun to watch. I totally think Brett deserves all the coverage and sponsors that he has gotten.

Brand new skates.
Need broken in, flex might be different, heel height/slant might be different (awkward to explain but it effects balance, particularly landing fakie) soulplates are a different speed, backslide groove is different and not worn in…….so many factors to consider with a new skate.
Whilst they’re not that big a deal in the wrong run, can take a few weeks to fully get into the groove.
So to hate on a break-in session is a bit harsh. I guess the counter-argument to it is “why make an edit then” but that’s up for Brett.
They’re lovely skates, he’ll get used to them, you might like his shit, you might not. Meh.

i think everyone’s just jealous, i’ve been marveling over his TML2 section since i got it. his hops are up there with some of the best, he does big gaps and hammers, and he sits on his cuffs on most grinds (even if they’re on a curb that’s 3 inches high) oh, and while sitting on his cuffs, still manages to 540 out of grinds (SAF!)
i think blake killed that park though with the 7ft high wall stall, was hoping for some amplitude like that from brett, but it’s all good, any break-in session should be fun, not too stressful. although he obviously has no problems landing ao topsides in stiff skates!

u all ar fucktards this is not his first pair of thrones hes made an edit with, so stop trying to say its his first time on thrones. there is no such thing as breaking in skates other than the backslide plate. but besides the plate is already there 2 use, hence out of the box use. i tear it up on a new pair of thrones ne damn day of the week. u alll milk bulls and it pisses me off, and ill admit hes got a good ao topsoul but still that aint shit, like why make an edit in the lousiest skatepark ever and post it on rollernews. if ur gnna make an edit make it some ill shredding.

He has easily progressed HARDER, FASTER and better then anyone I have ever seen on rollerblades. I DARE you to fucking challenge him – he will destroy you. He can do anything, he has all capabilities – he skates how he wants now, and that is bottom line.

Awesome article! I look forward to reading more upcoming blog posts from you. I just picked up a set of Hawk HP Plus brake pads myself, and so far they’ve been great. I really got to test them out quite a bit at the track day that I did this past weekend.One thing that I’m not too crazy about is that they seem to dust quite a bit while on the street. Although I guess that’s expected from a track-worthy brake pad. Overall though, Hawk brake pads deliver excellent performance for the price.
