Yes, Penniless came from the michigan scene, by adam khuel. Great movie, I suggest everybody buys a copy. There are in total 7 or 8 profiles in the movie, derek mclain, josh jones, mikey blair, justin walker, nick mantz, and I. Brad a year or two ago screwed his knee and leg up pretty bad, haha he’s one of my best friends and I can’t exactly remember what he hurt. Anyway he’s been perfecting his editing and filming talants since that time. He just released the Movie “Growth” which premiered nov. 11, also awesome move from michigan. Also should be available from marc vanderbaugh and intergraded distribution in the next few weeks. Support pro rollers, buy these video’s.

wow, i cant believe how many people commented on my section… thanks so much.
the knee thing: i tore my inner and outer minicus and ACL all in the same injury. I waited a year and kept skating on my knee (left knee) and all of the mean while, i was filming for that section with the screwed up knee. i remember the hardest part was lacing that 540 over the double set. so much on my knee but any ways … actual skating is a thing of the past right now … there is NO WAY my knee could handle the skating but i still think about it everyday.
as far as the GROWTH in rollerblading for me goes, im staying on the underground for now. i work full time and spend the other time i have on lake michigan camping and hiking…
i just released GROWTH another MICHIGAN rollerblade film. you can get at http://www.shopintegrated.com/ within the next couple of days … the video hasnt even been on the market for more than 2 weeks and the Dist. already sold out of the first wave. i sent copies out to al the michigan shops last week and have already had another order in from one of the shops … the video came out and was ready to be shipped on Nov 18th. thats 10 days and the video is already selling well. support the MI scene and the guys in the video so i can cut them a piece of the cake … thanks for all the kind wors except for that one dude who said my skating wants to make him quit …. and to that kid … youre prolly 15 .. which is cool but KNOW your OG’s. I’ve been around since before VG3 and have been skating for the better half of my life - with one leg, ill school you. all in love, peace.

Sick rolling and it was nice to watch a video which didn’t scream “i might die doing this”…..had a real “doing it for the love” feel….was excellent.
