Like the title states, the year is 2008, and the contest is in Northern California. Blade Comedy Jam’s are usually filled with nothing but the opposite, which is rollerblading and that should be never be taken as a joke.
I mean some of the tricks are funny, but this is serious business but “Tommy Boy” AKA “Tommy Boy” seems to think that it is some sort of monkey business. Let me start out by giving you a little history behind the “el bladeo comedyo jamo.” Starting about 2 years ago Mr.Boy started throwing street contests in San Fransisco and various surrounding towns that had little in common with organization, which in rollerblading… isn’t all that bad.
At the very least all the homeys got together and skated major numbers deep at some high profile street spots. As the day went on the contest would usually dwindle at about spot #3. A Product toss would usually ensue, which would inevitably cause a frenzy amongst the kids and like a ninja using his smoke screen (You know when they throw the smoke bomb on the ground and it goes “POOooooFFFF!”) Tommy Boy could barely be seen in the background ducking into is H2 stretch limo (one time it was a helicopter) and scooting away with yet another contest under his belt…. Well this time it was different, very different indeed. Instead of being an illegal unorganized street contest, it was an illegal unorganized skate park contest… and this was bold…so bold that the inevitable was INEVITABLE!!!!!!! […]

How you can be busted to a skatepark !!! Sometimes things sounds really stupid in the USA, I hope you’ll have a better president next time ! One who doesn’t tell the police to bust people from a skatepark ‘cos you organized a not allowed contest, the must allowed place to skate !
In france, we use to organise not allowed street contest, and most time we see the police and they are not enough to push us out, so they go away !

I feel cheated cause Jeff is actually the best out of all of them and surely knows how to link his tricks up the best with a smooth fluid style better than any other pro out there. Great skating but man would I have love to see more of Stockwell. Oh and Hugo. THe cops out in Europe are nice. These muthafuckas beat our asses and take our skates all the time. They’ll put you in their car and if you’re latino, drop you off without any shoes in the black gang territories and vice versa. Hell we should be able to do that but Americans are simply much more violent. I’ve been beaten by a cop for skating and I wasn’t even skating.

That’s why I’m going on holiday next summer in the USA ! To be busted, ahah !
But I would like to see some good things over there, ‘cos I’m sure a lot are nice, but in europe, on tv, we only see the worst part and the badass people of the USA.

The first park is damn good I skated it and it’s better than the average parks I ‘ve skated in my whole life…
Hugo we’ll join in USA if you go over there in august !

something is missing…… the people should be screaming like football fans at most of thoes tricks. instead a few people go yeah, yeah if i was threr id be like a lil school girl wee in my pants. stockwell HUGE 540. bailey NEVER ENDING solid run
