Black Sun Wheels (New Zealand)
Quoting a mail from Samuel Lye:
Well i started planning the idea of a wheel company in 2011. The idea came about when i needed new wheels. Here in New Zealand you can not buy wheels anywhere so are forced to buy them from over seas, because of this a lot of bladers quit the sport as its to expensive but also the time involved in waiting for the wheels to arrive is frustrating.
But i thought i could fix this by creating my own Brand!!! And so BlackSun came about, a lot of names were thought up with different concepts and possible images but something about BlackSun stuck in my head.

So after 8 months of ideas, planning, emails and phone calls the first proto types were made. Testing came next to make sure the wheels were the best they could be, so a lot of skating went down on different terrain types, parks, ramps and street. After i was happy, my artist Anna Johnstone from Nelson NZ went to work in creating some amazing wheel designs and logos for the brand, making sure that i was completely happy with the final result. She was amazing and without her help i wouldn’t be where i am now with the brand.
It was then all ago and production began. So after a year, the wheels have gone from an idea to reality and i couldn’t be happier. The support from the New Zealand rollerblading community has been amazing and they are as keen to see it succeed as i am. The feed back on the wheels is also outstanding. I now look to the future and growing the brand, supporting rollerblading and keeping the price low.

I think the more brands the better, it means easier accessibility to products and competition between companies. Which equals lower prices for you!! @ lol : I shipped a set to Germany the other week cost me 15NZD (12.50 USD) so $60as you say is way wrong, sorry.
