  1. Mikey Says:

Broskow didn’t lock on the 540 alleyoop-topsoul and his 500cm sweatstance was farside.
The standard of skating at that comp was so low that haffey deserved to win just for having the best looking fall.
Franky is our only park skater who can keep up with the likes Cudot, Nils, and CJ. The rest have forgotten their park skills because they spend too much time combing their hair and tapping broskows balls to mute grab off.

  2. Dis DIck Says:

The more these BCSD edits appear, the more it just looks like a jam session rather than competition… so much slop going on. Maybe if these guys would worry less about looking cool and wore helmets they’d step it up a bit for the comps.

  3. Dis DIck Says:

And… these edits looked like shit too.

  4. Nazi Says:

    Broskow still suck ..

  5. Chris Duke Says:

I’m starting to see why Urbas didn’t win, looks like no one was fucking watching him! There have been 5 edits out now and we are JUST seeing some clips finally. Was that him doing the fakie 1080? Fucking wild!

  6. FIXED Says:

  7. Jamie Says:

fakie 1080 doesn’t count because Broskow has only ever landed a 720. but if broskow ever lands a 900, I predict everyone will suck him dry.

this is why we laugh at your fanboy asses, because you’re more a fan of one guy than you are of the whole sport, and it’s really starting to drag rollerblading down into double standards, controversy and thus negativity.

all the clips I’ve seen of Brett so far are quality, and it does look like he skated many obstacles around the park. Broskow clips were good for Broskow, considering he’s never 540d into a soul trick before, but let’s face it, Valo hates spin to win for a reason, and that’s because they can’t do it well. The only other one he did that I can rememer is that fakie 5 ts he did at Bitter Cold years ago, and he didn’t slide that one very far either.

  8. James C Says:

I’ve watched all the edits and there is no way Broskow should have won. And no way Aragon should have gotten third.

As I expected would happen, the edits left out Urbas, just as they left out Cudot last year. So based on what ALL my friends said who went to BCSD, Urbas probably won.

  9. Sidi Says:

From what ive seen Bailey is the winner. But with all the talking around Urbas someone have to put a legit edit, if someone filmed him… Broskow skating the same obstacle all time is just frustrating. Cool to see Jaren on skates thought!

  10. Anonymous Says:

    such a lame comp

  11. Chris Duke Says:

Yeah I REALLY want to see these fucking Urbas clips! I have seen shit in the passed and he is clearly great, just want to see what all the hub bub was about that he should of won. Another thing that no one is taking into account, is a ton of these other guys did the EXACT same tricks they did last year. This isn’t dance class, they should be bringing new tricks which Broskow did!

  12. Chris Duke Says:

And another thing, I bet Brett is fucking PSYCHED to even be in the top 3! unless he is a cocky asshole (which I doubt he is) than he is probably more than happy with second.

  13. joe Says:

look maybe urbas should have won, but why the hell would you talk shit about broskow and not the jury? if you know rollerblading at all you should know that broskow has been shredding for years now, he has complete control and can do basically anything on skates.

brett urbas is a up and comer, he has to go big to get noticed..

  14. Suck It Says:

Everyone keeps talking about Brett Urbas… but I haven’t seen any clips from him on any of these edits ???

  15. lol Says:

@SUCK IT…… exactly…no clips of Urbas….they did the same thing to Cudot last year. These guys just want to promote their favorite U.S. skaters, even if they sucked. Urbas killed shit, won the comp outright, and not one edit.

CJ Wellsmore is the new USD pro. I’m sure Brett Urbas won’t be far behind.

  16. hes a homo Says:

fucking brett skates that same damn park everyday. literally thats all he skates you will never see him in the streets. this guy does every single one of them tricks every day so in my opinion they shouldnt even let him skate in it. not fair to the people around the world who dont get to skate it all day everyday. AND HE IS A COCKY ASSHOLE! ahould have went broskow bailey then aragon. JUST STOP ALL THE FUSS NOT GONNA CHANGE ANTYTHING.

  17. Terry Says:

@Jamie more kids out there in the world nowa days can do 900s and 1080s. to me all that spinning isn’t cool. its sloppy, no grab, throwing themselves for the biggest spin. look at that little guy wake, he’s been doing 900s for who knows how long. but there is plenty more he can’t do. my point is, those big spins are not that cool or impressive unless you’re doing them on street or somehow you pull it off on the mega. and if i’m not mistaken urbas did that fakie 10 last year also.

@mikey competitions are full of unperfect tricks. most competitors try and roll away from their trick and move on to the next one. and seeing the difficultly in those 2 really hard tricks broskow did for competition standards, they were done very well.

  18. I DONT GET IT Says:

    @hes a homo Says

guess we cant have any skate comps then since its always someones local park. You are right you prolly will never see him in the streets, but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be allowed to skate at his local park and a pro contest nor should it mean his tricks should be judged differently.

  19. Anonymous Says:

lol no one filmed the kid because no one cares.

  20. Ron Paul Says:

I like the part with all the Brett Urbas clips. All these edits suck

  21. the Truth Says:

No one filmed Urbas bcause they don’t want anyone to see how bad he kicked Broskow’s ass. But everyone who attended knows the truth.

  22. Where's Brett? Says:

The edits clearly show that Broskow skated nothing but that tiny skateboard rail. And the edits also cleary show that the editors were afraid to show clips of Urbas. So by deuction we can only conclude Urbas destroyed shit, and Broskow thought it was a skateboard comp.

All of you who paid money for this comp – the money went to a guy who skated a r-rail.

  24. Should Be A Good Year Says:

2012 looks like it will be the year the Old Guard of U.S. rollerblading comes tumbling down. CJ Wellsmore goes to USD. Brett Urbas kicks the pros asses at BCSD. Nils Jansons wins Skater of The Year. No American places in Winterclash. We can only hope now these washed up old pros retire and let the talented young guns take over.

  25. Anonymous Says:

Just for compare BCSD and winterclash with what I see on edits (not because it’s in US and in Europe, please): BCSD is quiet (people and riders), with a big tradeshow, a lot of stars…and nothing else…nothing happens…Winterclash was fire…with a fucking energy in the air! A place where you think that’s all we want in our “sport” is here (for a competition…) big atmosphere, riders who ride for real…fun, joy, excitment, partying,
BCSD seems to be like a gymnastic comp with everything as cold as the physical temperature (only) at the winterclash…
    And so?
What does blades are different than gymnastic?

  26. Viva La France Says:

The skate scene in Europe is just superior to the U.S. European skaters do big risky tricks and skate the whole park. They are young and pushing themselves to get better. U.S. pros do little tricks on little obstacles and are more worried about looking cool than skaing hard.

Now USD has the Best skate team in the world with Cudot and CJ.

  27. hah Says:

Or maybe americans are just tired of spin to win? i mean fuck haffey did a 720 kind grind like what… 8 years ago? its old shit. the sport needs something new. somethin innovative. which neither americans or europeans are giving. Europeans are doin what american pros did in 2002, and americans are tryin to skate like skateboarders.

  28. Anonymous Says:

I don’t understand what was difficult about Broskow’s trick compared to any other trick that was done that day. I’m not saying it wasn’t, but someone needs to explain to me how exactly that was more difficult than any of the other spin to win tricks in these edits.

The main thing I don’t get is that Broskow used to be one of the most breathtaking skaters of his generation. That changed after all those KFC head injuries. Fair enough, there’s life after skating and I don’t blame him for changing his style.

That said, I’ll still call a spade a spade and say that his new style of skating, while being very controlled, really isn’t much to look at. Maybe I don’t understand subtlety, but then again I love recent Chris Farmer stuff.

Broskow will be remembered for his 2002-2004 output. Everything since then has been an interesting turn but, I think, the wrong turn given his abilities.

  29. sokanomx Says:

I didnt hear boos when broski won….. and yes Urbas should be super juiced on beating so many of the best US pros….The venue needs to change and skate co’s need to start sending EU dudes over here to skate….Where was Cudot or Nils? BTW the funniest part of BCSD was the crickets when he was announced skater of the year….

  30. ha ha Says:

@ha…I love how you little Broskow faggots criticize spin to win….but didn’t Broskow do spin to win in BCSD????? Explain that one.

Oh I get it…if you do spin to win on big obstacles it sucks, but if you do it on litttle skateboard obstacles it’s cool. Why not just admit Broskow lost his balls years ago and is afraid to do big tricks.

I’d really like to see Broskow skate that tiny rail in a dress. Since he has no balls, a dress would look cute on him.

  31. BIG BALLS Says:

The debate over Urbas vs. Broskow just shows there are two very different groups in rollerblading.

There are aggressive skaters who do big tricks on big obstacles and risk getting injured. Skaters like Urbas, Cudot, CJ, Haffey and Aragon are aggressive skaters.

Then there are figure skaters who do small tricks on small obstacles and risk getting their hair messed up. Broskow, the Kelsos, etc. fall into this category.

The aggrssive skaters have Big Balls, while the figure skaters have vaginas.

  32. hah Says:

or there are 2 diff schools… style vs stupidity. style has always been a huge aprt of skating in any form… id much rather see consistancy and style vs 900 a/o soul… 900or not ur still doun a fuckin a/o soul. and yes that includes brosk. fuckin get creative. im sick of watchin this monotinous hack skating be it us or europe.
