Nice TTA and TTP BILLY O., but when skaters talk about the NYC scene do you not feel obligated to defend where you came from?
I’m just an average/advance skater, I just feel like you don’t “rep” anymore”..I appreciate the nyc invitational, but PLZ defend the scene..ITS GETTING WAY TOO OUT OF CONTROL!!!!
P.S My email is upon request.
January 25th, 2012 at 9:30 am
I hope he’s back. We havnt seen new footage from him since Charg!ng. And Billy is amazing.
January 25th, 2012 at 9:41 am
Wow! Billy always skates hard, I can’t believe he broke his ankle a few years ago and still skates this well.
January 25th, 2012 at 9:47 am
The gaps are un-fu*king imaginable..but rep nyc ..there are people hating so much on the new york city scene..they are not even valid facts tru story (ignorant status)
Vote for Billy For President
January 25th, 2012 at 9:52 am
I actually meant the wall rides, to be valid.
January 25th, 2012 at 10:11 am
I know for a FACT a lot of hate is directed toward skaters from NYC..All i’m asking is that companies should consider some ” NATURAL TALENT” from NYC..
January 25th, 2012 at 11:13 am
All that time we been waiting for some fresh footage and all we got is a charging remix section with some inferior clips from Russia? Shit I am dessapointed, the only good skater on the pro team and doing his job right is Sean Kelso.
January 25th, 2012 at 11:52 am
That was AMAZING
January 25th, 2012 at 12:22 pm
hard hard hard amazing Billy
January 25th, 2012 at 12:50 pm

January 25th, 2012 at 1:29 pm
Billy O’Neill is a fucking legend! i love watching him skate, and he really seems to enjoy it too. The satisfaction he has on his face when he lands his tricks is good to see.
I cant wait for more!
January 25th, 2012 at 1:38 pm
what skates is he skating at the very end? Are those carbons with usf throne 2piece plates?
January 25th, 2012 at 3:24 pm

January 25th, 2012 at 3:27 pm
my fav. skater hands down!!!
January 25th, 2012 at 4:05 pm
Billy is dope. I so juiced to go skating now!
January 25th, 2012 at 4:07 pm
Fish has nothing to do with the NYC skate scenes self destruction. The problem out here is that most kids are dumb and they don’t put out quality footy with quality skating.
January 25th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
Billy is one Of the best
January 25th, 2012 at 4:39 pm
Good section. The only thing i dont understand is everyone that was hip hop now has sections to music like this. Is it the clothes or what. I dont care or mind all the much but when i have to turn off the sound it really messes up the whole thing
January 25th, 2012 at 4:51 pm
hope to see more of fish this year :D
January 25th, 2012 at 5:09 pm
@slcrollin what’s the problem with punk rock ?
January 25th, 2012 at 5:16 pm
Doesn’t Billy play the drums? I doubt he plays “hip hop” when he plays the drums!!!
Billy’s blading is amazing! Get better soon! Can’t wait to see more!!!!
January 25th, 2012 at 5:45 pm
That little section just changed my view of rollerblading… makes me want to get off my lazy ass and go skate with those Billy O’neil signature wheels!!
January 25th, 2012 at 5:46 pm
Billy O’neill is better than me.
and yeah, the bladers 95% who were “big hip-hoppers”, now pseudo rockers or something like that…
but i don’t mind! they are still doing it hard!
January 25th, 2012 at 5:50 pm
Billy Reps NYC incredibly hard. When approached to do a contest in San Fran he decided it would be better if done in NYC, his hometown. Thats why the Invite was in New York. Also, Billy sponsors NYCs best non pro talents( Franco & PZA). Right now out of all the industry leaders that have some pull, Fish shows love to NYC always and does the a lot for that scenes development, past present & future.
January 25th, 2012 at 6:00 pm
@somebody… Just not my kind of music.. And all the videos these days have that music.
January 25th, 2012 at 6:03 pm

January 25th, 2012 at 6:06 pm

January 25th, 2012 at 6:29 pm
NYC bladers…
watch this guy and try and skate more like this and your scene will be ok.
January 25th, 2012 at 6:29 pm
billy skates for SSM now by the way
January 25th, 2012 at 6:45 pm
sean kelso skates for valo as well
January 25th, 2012 at 7:31 pm
and broskow for xsjado as well
January 25th, 2012 at 7:40 pm
I didn’t like Billy O Neil when he 1st came out but his skating speaks for himself. Too bad he keeps getting injured but that is just an sign of how hard this fool stunts…
that is big new re: SSM, Kelo and Broskow also FML ! lots of changes.
January 25th, 2012 at 11:33 pm
Billy is fucking dope…creative, tech and skates fucking hard. Good raw rollerblading.
January 26th, 2012 at 1:37 am
His new skate will be SSM. Learn the facts children.
January 26th, 2012 at 1:38 am
He lives in Oakland because NYC is lame. Teaming up with Shima is a good bet. HA!
January 26th, 2012 at 1:57 am
Nyc is lame? Lol!
January 26th, 2012 at 3:31 am
All you anonymous and no name people down playing the NYC scene are lame. Not everyone has money for expensive equipment and if 5 of you can tell me how Adam Johnson, Vinny Minton or Lonnie Gallegos make such flawless edits then I’d be impressed to say the least. Personally speaking I just got back from a 5 hour session with some friends around the Bronx and it was great, taking into consideration that its less than 45 degrees here. We skate to have fun, and all the “shitty” edits showcase just that. It shows that there are plenty of people in NYC and NY State that skate all the time all year round no matter the weather. I would say show me the proof of your amazing skills and talents, but I know that no one is going to defend their opinion if your criticism was just plain ol’ hate. I love the NYC skate scene because its alive and growing and I meet new skaters all the time. That being said, Billy is amazing and doesn’t have to respond to trolls on the internet. The events he sponsors and the sessions that he comes to in NYC speak for themselves. The name I put up says it all. We can have a civilized discussion about why you hate or are disappointed in the NYC skate scnene any time you want on facebook. But I will not be responding to any nameless faceless comments on RN.
January 26th, 2012 at 3:46 am
Billy killed it in both videos. I like the idea of taking his “best of” stuff and mixing some new shit in. The online edits kinda took the quality and appreciation of each trick down a notch, generally speaking. but….when you show the best clips and present new ones in this fashion, you have something sweet.
I don’t think the NYC scene has taken a blow at all. What I see is a bunch of hungry bladers, just following the protocol of what bladers do nowadays. Everyone Posts videos it seems daily, so I’m sure that is what they want to emulate. I don’t think any rollerblader should talk shit on another for their “level” of skating. Worry about your own shit, stay hungry and humble, and everyone wins. Peace to Billy this section made me wanna skate. so much styles he reminds me of a street version of Jacklone a little bit….That fakie control is definitely similar. NYC produces serious talent.
January 26th, 2012 at 4:56 am
billy is dope!!
January 26th, 2012 at 6:55 am
Okay with some dude clearly just posting 3 messages back to back to back about supposed pro change ups, I feel like it’s just trolling to get a reaction… but at the same time could see Billy on SSM. Any way, what I really wanna know is what’s this talk about the NY scene self destructing? I usually don’t care about this kinda gossip, but that sounds interesting.
Also, yet another artard is on here either hating or trolling, talking about Sean Kelso is the only guy on USD properly skating. Riiiiiight…..
Billy did kill it in this, and the song choice I thought was just fine and fits him… but I do agree that too many vids these days leave out hip hop. I liked most of the songs from Charging, but I wanted some hip hop, or an alternative rock song that wasn’t so indie sounding, or some kind of decent electronic song. That vid and especially the Nimh video had way too much rock that sounded quite similar. This as an individual online edit is fine, but I do agree with the people that have said that they’re not a fan of how we’ve flip flopped. Look at Ego. Pretty much every song except for the intro and Ski’s section was hip hop. Somewhat ironically I didn’t mind that that vid was so filled with hip hop where as I’m a little bothered by Charging being all rock save for the intro. Just my opinion/taste, but I’m sure others feel the same.

Street skating is the standard of rollerblading, and I am pretty sure these sections prove just that.

July 6th, 2012 at 10:05 pm
I have a feeling for both of the sections as if someone just SUBSTITUTE the opriginal (matching) sounndtrack with sth he likes…..likie Youtube does…
Tricks are superb….but I don’t want to watch the Billy’s sections again …for the first time
