BHC Wheels Review by Lui Summer

bhc wheels testing

I recently got two sets of BHC wheels, the Albert Hooi pro wheels and the team wheels.

What really surprised me was the really different performance of these two sets of wheels!

To be honest I was quite disappointed when I skated the team wheels because I expected them to be as good as the pro wheels. I really don’t know what the difference between these wheels was. They both were 57mm and 92a.

I expect hard wheels to last longer than softer ones. This was right with the Hooi wheels.

It took quite a long time of skating until the first little cracks in the urethane became visible. The team wheels did not last especially long. Exactly the same thing can also be said about the graphics.

It really amazed me that the graphics of the Hooi wheels were still there and in a really good shape when I decided that the wheels were done. Unfortunately the graphics of the team wheels were almost totally gone after the first two sessions.

What is good about both wheels is that they have got a lot of grip and that they are really fast. Because of what I experienced I would really recommend going for the pro series. Not that the team wheels were bad wheels.

They were quite average, but not above… If you are into long lasting graphics and are too lazy to change your wheels a lot you should try out the Albert Hooi pro wheels!

I’ve had a few sets of BHC wheels now, one of them being the teams, and I agree that the pro wheels just seem to hold up better

Haven’t tried the Hooi’s, but the Frazer wheels are really good, had 2 sets of them now

    bnc team wheels 56mm/90a

That’s because the “Team Wheels” are Stock Razor wheels with a BHC design. There not real BHC wheels. They are RAZOR.

  8. Butt Cork Says:

So it seems like these fucking wheels suck. Not suprising considering they are ‘razors’ wheels with bhc screen printed on the side.

I’ve had the glow in the dark hoois and they were rubbish they were like triangles in a day!! however Frazer Watson BHC lasted a while when I skated them.

I have the Hooi wheels and I love them. Just like it said, long lasting, fast, and smooth. I like them way better than my undercover’s. Good wheels.
