Scott Quinn & Keir Lindsday Skating in Glasgow for Beast Wheels:
Shot in december 2007.

Heres our edit of our trip upto Glasgow in December featuring our team riders Scott Quinn and Keir Lindsay.

Shot over a freezing cold weekend when nightfall happened about 3 o clock and getting daylight clips was slightly challenging because we were slightly lazy…

If you don’t know who’s who then Quinny is the one living in his black Razors hoody. Enjoy!

More clips & pictures : beastwheels.wordpress.com.
Thanks Keir.

It think keeping up with bhc will be hard as they have been around for a while and have a solid fan base in manchester and all over the uk.

  12. Brian Says:

We need less brands on rollerblading, all the small brands with no future are a waste of money and time. The designs look so bad.

  20. steve Says:

keir has tricks, but style aint there ! but its better without them massive clumpy xsjados.

  21. Stu Says:

This wasnt supposed to be launched for a month or so yet hence theres a lot of unprofessionalism on the blog still, please do not judge us based on anything other than the edit as that was the only thing fully ready to be released.

Keep your eyes peeled for our new Barcelona one dropping soon and that T shirt is nothing compared to the catalogue I just got back today.

Also those wheel graphics…arent happening, there just a few of some brief examples doughty knocked up in an evening, the real ones a million times better, you’l see it soon.

Thank you for all the comments good and bad, keep them coming

BHC- all the best heres to a UK industry that does not rip off the rollerbladers supporting it, you guys should be proud of everything you’ve accomplished

  22. mike Says:

someone used after effects tutorials to create the logo animation at the beginning of the edit…^^

  23. Julian Coulter Says:

“We need less brands on rollerblading, all the small brands with no future are a waste of money and time. The designs look so bad.”

Yeah, i m agree with you… too many brands especially wheels brand.
I sincerely hope it can work for those guys, however we know that the rollerblading market is not ready for little local brand like that.

Wish u the best guys … but it s gonna be hard.

    peace

  26. Randy Says:

  27. podge Says:

props lads ,that was beasty, good luck with all, peace

  28. tek II Says:

yer cool an all but currently I only buy eulogys cos they are the only wheel that lasts for more than a month, if these are the beast they are reputed to be then might be cheaper to get these and kiers sick and he has got good style u asshats!

  29. Scott_Nairn Says:

keir and quinny are just fuckin awesome
i already support beast, not even released any wheels and i still know i will get them. it’s a good company with good skaters running it, beast will be here for years. as for BHC, look at the success they had, they must have started off just like Beast at one point, who says it can’t happen again? =)

  30. Aaron Says:

but to be fair BHC is a good name.
    BEAST sounds fukin shit lol!

  31. Smashing Dumplins' Says:

I will just buy the cheapest wheels in the size i want, they all chew up after a bit so im not bothered about graphics or anything

  32. -ninja- Says:

wonder what makes someone start up a wheel brand, cos so many people do it. clothing is understandable, but unless youve got revolutionary new wheel technology theres not much point. thers enough wheel companies that make fine wheels. or if you could make a graphics that last, that would be good.

  33. keir Says:

my style is to shit in your mouth, you aint never been to glasgow steve so thats why you expect every one to skate all perky and propper, no it aint going down like that here.

fuck look at chazzs section from the salomon (2004) dvd and that will show you rugged glasgow blading laced in cali. i could easily wap a pair of skinny jeans on and start doing easier tricks where my hands emphasise every movement but its not for me.

my style is natural because it is something i dont even think about and come on i must have a style of some sort after what nearly 12 years. whats your second name steve? introduce yourself to me next time you see me and ill show you some styling tricks just to prove you wrong.

    Partick whats up?>!!!!! hows things?!

  34. icon Says:

kier is one of the most hard working skaters I have ever met. Now he is a friend of mine and I know his style isn’t the best of all time. But difficulty???? this guy is sik and difficulty out weighs style any day of the week in my book. Thing is style is all relative anyway. some like aragon some dont. some like olishort some dont.

  35. keir Says:

look at the colin kelso post, now hes got style. But people are saying its too much and hes too false. personally i would never diss another skater incase they beat my ass and just out of mutual respect and maners.

certainly one of the reasons blading is suffering i because it is not as inclusive like skateboarding. in skateboarding you have people that just do only hammers like corey duffel, people that only mostly do ledges and are pro (zoo york) and all round rippers (john rattray) Skateboarding is clever in the way it has realised that millions of people do it and they all have different Idiosyncrasies/preferences. so companies have pros that fit almost every niche/lifestyle.

so even coln kelso cant win and gets bithced about, this says something about the people watching, lets allow a bit of difference and not all be the same clone. if im sketchy so be it! at least im not tryng to copy anyone, the good thing is rollerblading is starting to realise that it is important to represent each and every one of our unique qualities and that is why the wheel is coming out.

  36. keir Says:

we need more brands in rollerblading that are roller owned, so we can step away from corporate ownership. NOT LESS

  37. manch Says:

well said keir, thats all so tru.

  38. arturas Says:

can someone tell me the name of the first song? ;)

  39. Cullen Says:

sweet edit, the Q dawg and keira fuckin rippin loads a spots!!! Finally seen the keir gab to cunt it from the 1st floor of that car park in the EK, fuckin mental!!!

  40. Stu Says:

its by biffy clyro since there scottish, off of the album puzzles i think, ive forgotten its about track 2,3 or 4, that gap was mental and it was a smash and grab job for him to try it as we’d been just about beaten up there the night before by the people who work in debenhams as the landings next to their door, so it was literally stealth it in and give it 1 go before they were all out again

  41. Name (required) Says:

WORST FUCKING SPIN IVE EVER SEEN
that quinn guy has much nicer style than the other guy

  42. Sloth Says:

yes but a true top soyal,
topsoul and ao topsoul is Very limited. This is what quinny mostly sticks to. Keir can do almost anything, so all round.
