Weak ass promo….coulda did some damn grinds instead of some bs slow mo rolling of a few seconds just to extend the damn vid

  3. Tom Cheung Says:

    No-one pledges…….

  4. Ronan Says:

What is the deal with promoting AGGRESSIVE skate equipment/hardware but not showing how they grind or if they can survive gaps and drops…. You want people to shell out $60-$100 i’m sure, spend some time actually proving the product is worth buying…

Tired of 60 second videos in general which is why i don’t watch WRS… thats not enough time to actually showcase someones talent to accurately know how good they are or the products they are trying to represent.

  5. josh Says:

only decent looking pb product to date. watch people continue to bitch about the kizer design, but not support this.

  6. Andy Says:

omg, unbelievable frames… if you put wheels in it, then you can roll with it…
    this is something new!

Hey i know the guys involved in this project.

Firstly the frame in the video wasn’t the fully working frame it was their mock sample they had to finalise all the little details to go ahead with the moulds and do some promo shots for everyone to see the product.

They currently only have a couple of working samples which THEY ARE USING TO GATHER CLIPS to make a further promo edit that will show you that the frames work.

Stop picking on this edit. Its a simple quick promo “have a quick look at our frame” edit.

Everyone is so quick to judge or slag off things like this and new companies with out knowing what is involved.

This company is skater run, designed, owned and funded by themselves and they are having to fit this round their day to day lives. So filming edits with “working frames” takes a bit of time. They have got some great ideas and a few more frames designs in the pipeline and want to get this out for the new year.
As large wheel, PB/aggressive frames go these are really well thought out.

I was in the car with one of the main guys involed when he got the call saying the moulds have now been purchased and production may now start so they should all be ready for winterclash.

This is defiantly the sort of companies that we need to support, to help grow our industry and make it strong again.

I’ve been blading since 91 and seen so much happen to this sport. People are ALWAYs to quick to judge so just chill and see what comes next.

Nice work boys Frame is looking sweet!

Back in my days aggressive inliners used 53-57 mm wheels. Now they use 57mm plus wheels.. Isn’t that big enough? I nearly call those huge wheels fitness wheels. Why bother goiing even bigger? Ooooh yeah because using fitness skates aint cool so lets turn an aggressive skate into a fitness skates.

I’m sorry but I think that those frames are just a rip off of Kaltik and Kizer. seriously…
if you’re a full on street skater…try the kaltik flats with the 60mm rounded UC wheels…flat, you’re going as fast as you would on PB. then…the new Level 2 by kizer is a max 76mm frame, with a groove and hblock that is highly improved compared to the first advanced pb frames.

if on 76mm you can do perfect ufos without sticking…imagine putting 72mm wheels on that? or even 70 or 65mm? this would kill this tight Bake design.

Kaltik Large flat frames fit up to 63mm (joey egan is rocking em fat ass old 62 or 63mm wheels)

I like that bake is supporting flat. freestyle skating…i just don’t get whats the point of putting out a product that is not nearly as good as kaltik or kizer. especially after PB’s been getting SOOOOOO much shit since they are out.
Sorry but I doubt this will work.

I Think It Looks A Lot more like a CO frame then a kizer or kaltik

  12. nicolas schopfer Says:

not talking about looks here. talking about what you can do on them…for all I care they can look like a fiziks…it still wont work

  13. Philip Courter Says:

    Everything goes full circle

    KALTIK NUFF SAID

  15. Huh? Says:

If the frames in the video aren’t the finished version, it seems stupid to make a promo using them.

Also, it is asking a bit much of your audience to invest in something they know nothing about. There is no footage of anyone using the product for its actual purpose yet and no proof that they can stand up to the abuse skating inflicts on them.

If you are willing to part ways with over £100 for something that may or may not work, by a group of people that have no prior credentials, you are a braver person than I.

  16. Ben Shelbourne Says:

No wonder they only have £230 with 14 days to go…

    Stupid scousers.

  17. ronin Says:

The frame looks like a Kaltik with a smaller hblock space and they don’t even show someone grinding with it. This is disappointing.

Speaking of full circle we’ll have a complete 360 when we’ll get back to non UFS frames, the only way to have better flat set up.

  18. Anonymous Says:

i know it was said before , but coming from someone who has backed many kickstarter projects, i dont see it wise to start the kick with out a proper video. the sooner the edit is up. the sooner people will give you money. the difference with these is they supposedly can grind flat 72. so please show that asap. 31 is close doods! also someone like me who loved the rb 72mm frames and didnt mind them anti would only kick this project if you showed me why it could be better than a reg rb 72mm set up. just some things to think about trying to help you guys.

    pc out!

promo sucked… sucked to the point where it actually turned me off to the product.. sorry

    /thread

  20. Swagblader Says:

He can’t skate them because the prototypes are not the right plastic, they would break under that pressure. Maybe if you faggots gave him some kickstarter money he could make a mold for the actual plastic these frames were designed for….

  21. Anonymous Says:

this whole powerblading thing is so fucking annoying.

  22. /\ Youre all morons Says:

EVerything that comes out of you fucking groms faces is something negative. Holy shit you all suck.

  27. Tim and Eric Awesome Show Says:

Your comment was a bit too short. Please go back and try again.

  28. Scott Wilcoxson Says:

Frame looks sick! Show me a promo of royals, torques and backslides and I’ll support.

  29. Anonymous Says:

  30. pro boot Says:

Here you go, hate this – http://youtu.be/QD_WrU8n3uk

  32. Anonymous Says:

Shit rollernews ,do you still miss jog pants?

  33. nicolas schopfer Says:

    abirch :
I don’t mean to be a dick, but It’s really hard not to be. if you can frontside/nugen/royal with 80mm flat on Kizer frames, on ledges, without h-block nor groove…a test on rails or coping is not gonna help the cause and doesn’t mean your frame “works” better than any other.

I dig the fact you guys are trying something new. but it just seems to me like you haven’t thought this through. a great school project. but the industry is way ahead of this. and I’m not even talking kaltik here…put 72mm wheels on the Kizer Level 2 and you can unity the fuck out of pretty much anything you want. LEDGE included.

  34. abirch Says:

Nicolas mate, what are you talking about? Do you dislike innovation and new products? Yes, we were inspired by other products, like Kaltik and Kizer frames, but we also saw some potential for improvement so we designed what we think is an improved frame (and a lot of people agree).

We know that a lot people can skate Powerblading frames well, we’ve seen some impressive stuff, but the issue we saw was that h-block tricks were on-the-whole an issue for people. Kizer have now improved their frame with the level 2, but the perceived issue of wheel-bite is still a problem for us (and a lot of other people we talk to) because the wheel is still so visible. Its a confidence issue, and we think our frames will let more people enjoy big wheels and royales at the same time. Thats all we’re trying to do.

I hope you’ll give them a try at some stage because we’d like to hear what you think.
