|B| UNIQUE’S “KNOW DIFFERENCE”
“KNOW DIFFERENCE” documents a groundbreaking skate phenomenon, also known as freestyle rolling, which is exploding on the streets of NYC to the surburbs of California, to worldwide. A film that sheds light on a revolutionary form of artistic expression that involves love, pain, fear, style, joy, and possibly death…..all on 8 wheels. A completely fresh portrayal of individuals who live this lifestyle, not to “fit in”, but to break boundaries in their culture and within themselves.

Some news from Lord Brian :

just a little ‘grammatical’ question,
what does ‘know difference’ mean ?
haha ok english is not my mother tongue,
but isn’t it supposed to be ‘known difference’ or ‘know the difference’ ?
November 10th, 2005 at 6:05 am
in reply to koubis, “know difference”, it implies -to be aware of difference-
much different than both ‘known difference’ and ‘know the difference’ — ;)

this is why |B| is so dope. Theyre actually doing something for rollerblading and the industry. Is this film going to be availible in skateshops like a regular skate video or is this gonna be an exclusive film festival thing, or even a mass marketed film?
November 10th, 2005 at 9:55 am
Will it be for sale? or is it just gonna be at the FilmFestival?
November 10th, 2005 at 10:40 am
why the fuck did they spell kelso brothers like this: BROTHER’S?
and that is one impressive gold chain, you reckon it’s real?
November 10th, 2005 at 11:04 am
//Will it be for sale? or is it just gonna be at the FilmFestival?
i hope so, cause i want to see it too ;)
November 10th, 2005 at 11:33 am
I think Know Difference means something like rollerblading is differint, know it, acknowledge it.

ya its good to see the best company in rolling doing somthing like this. but i would also like to see this for sale also. it will be weird having all that attention put on a rolling documentary. either way i cant wait to see that.
as long as were on the subjuect, maybe “know diference” is like a synonnym for “no” like there is no diference, but in a sarcastic way. like the opposite of |B| unique. and also means “know” the diference, or recognize before you pass judgement, or have any preconcieved notions.
thats my two cents

what happened to jeph howard?
November 10th, 2005 at 6:51 pm
“best company in rolling” might be a bit of an overstatement considering we’re talking about a t-shirt company here, but yeah.

I think ‘Know Difference’ is like ‘Do you know the difference in rollerblade(rs)ing?’ like Kelso said in Freestyle Rolling ‘Style is within the skateboard, the style is within the bike, but rolling the style is within you, you need to show people your own style’. You can say ‘Ohh im scared of this rail, this grind’ and shit but you need to know that its you thats in control you are capable of anything, so like Know The Difference in what you can do and see how much the sport has progressed over a few years, used to be like ‘OMG! Topsoul down a three kinked rail’ but now…its like 450 Royals down droprails kinks n shit, think what it will be like in 3 years be people doin like 540 true kindgrinds and 720souls haha. I think and most people will think im talking alot of shit but awell shit happens haha!.
November 10th, 2005 at 10:27 pm
i was also assuming it may be a play on words like “know difference” and “no difference”. like, lets not hate we’re all in it for the same thing ..
November 10th, 2005 at 11:23 pm

dumb question but… anyone know what’s the name of the last song?

Beautful! This is what ROLLING needs. Quality films that show the world what we do. What “know difference” means is unimportant. Thank you Brown Brothers and all of the True Rollers and Peeps involved in bringing this film into the Light.
Peace, Guidance, and Health
to All.
