    ASA was one of the greatest things to happen to rolling the time. i know HElla skaters that started just because of ASA and now they are our am’s and pros… it brought media attention, and put money in the pockets of hard working skaters. don’t get it twisted you small thinking wanna be underground scared of the mainstream fuck.

    all while the ASA office staff ripped off field staff, skatepark owners, young skaters who signed up for “membership”, and even the pro skaters. All that money went to the office staff’s first class plane tickets (sometimes to places for personal business), hotel suites, BMWs, beach front houses in cali….

    maybe skaters need to read their contracts, manage their money, understand the corporate game and work with it, and get their own first class tickets and bmw’s instead of being the victims.

    Whoever shits on ASA is shitting on the very sport you “love”… regardless of what the hierarchy did with the money, the industry was somewhat stable, and had a place in the sporting world/industry… until the
    “i dont skate park” era and the wanna be rebels (of their own sports SUCCESS) killed off any hope of making it a big deal…. so here we sit, hoping to rise up once again…..
