I’m sorry I usually like this sort of thing and the skating was good. But I didn’t get the rest of it. it seemed like a lot of filler. like the girl? and the birds? jsut trying out your camera or what? good skating though

December 28th, 2009 at 11:02 pm
amish, i think you missed the point of the edit…..
this was brilliant
December 28th, 2009 at 11:25 pm
very nice work – this really is ART
damn, i can’t wait to get out film again… great inspiration – thanks!
December 28th, 2009 at 11:50 pm
nice – maybe a bit too much focus on that average girl…more skating, less of her…

good cinematography and elements of montage. what did you shoot with?

Thanks everyone. And Amish, this was a test I ran on my cpu to fix some workflow issues. It wasn’t supposed to be shown but it grew on me so I put it out for everyone to see, hence the randomness of the shots.
Thanks for viewing and thanks for the support!

December 29th, 2009 at 1:37 pm
i want to fuck that girl. Whats her name?
December 29th, 2009 at 5:35 pm
yea nice photography and filming etc. this isnt a skating video though… skating was the filling, the rest of the drama was the meat of the video. which makes me think, why is it on rollernews? it’s great that you have this cool camera and skills maybe in the future you can put together a cool video about skating, with the objective of showing skating, not just showing off video skills (as some people do). really nice, man.
peace

“why is it on rollernews”
please stop asking this question, rollernews can post what ever they want, it has skating in it, it relates to skating, i think thats good enough.
December 30th, 2009 at 5:30 am
confusing, looked way pretty with the bugs and girl, but the skating didn’t stand out as much as the other randomness did. and i like both the skaters alot, fleener with his nugen farside drop fakes and jason’s rocket fish on the curved hubba! DAMN good clips but were overshadowed ultimatly by something else, which makes me think what the purpose was for the edit. was it just a throw away or was it trying to make a point…… not sure but ya everything looked sweet with that nice ass camera. you guys are wild turkey in TEXAS! HA!

fuck ya fleener. fuck ya

Hey nice piece really inspiring.
What type of lenses do you generally use for skating if you don’t mind sharing your expertise.
Thanks!

some of the fc work was freaking redonk, but fuck me that time lapse shot in the middle of the road you must have fucking big balls leaving a camera like that in the middle of the road, even if it was on a traffic thingy.

That was beautiful.

Os: I use RED’s lens’. 18-50mm, 50-150mm, and for some I use a 300mm telephoto. And for everyone who keeps wondering why… This wasn’t a skating vid as much as its a piece of work with skating in it. I never intended to show this but it came out nice so I released it. So JuJu, Mousley, I apologize for not focusing on skating, but I also want people who don’t skate to relate to this. Besides, it only helps bring new people to watch a dying sport that doesn’t deserve to fade away like it has the past 10 years. So keep skating, I’ll keep filming, and we can all be happy. Here’s to art! Cheers!!!!
