Alchemy : White Freestyle Frames & Tee

Brand New British skate Brand Alchemy have just launched this Freestyle Frame, initially available in Large Only (UK 9-12).
This Frame was tested for 3 months by Ukskate Rider Nick Lomax. The Frame is the lightest on the market currently and yet appears to be pretty strong due to the Meshed construction. It uses 8MM axle hardware and comes with a range of UFS Bolts sized to fit ANY current skate model.
The Unique sharp edges on the Grind area allow the frame to quickly get a groove exatly where you want it.
Alchemy did a black version of this freestyle frame a moment ago, and check some of their wheel designs on this post (May 5th, 2006).

August 13th, 2006 at 3:38 pm
its on sale on proline man yeoo i heard that xsjado r takeing them to court caz of there name and frame design
August 13th, 2006 at 4:17 pm
im reviewing it for unity so i will tell u if its better than a mook. to be honest mooks are the worst.
August 13th, 2006 at 4:35 pm
they look really good.
August 13th, 2006 at 4:43 pm
It’s a mix between new able freestyle and xsjado
August 13th, 2006 at 4:44 pm
perfect copy of the mooks.
August 13th, 2006 at 4:52 pm
that is the gayest xsjado rip off i have ever since in my life.
August 13th, 2006 at 5:34 pm
When will people realize these frames don’t look good?
They’re the ugliest mother fuckers I’ve seen in my life.
August 13th, 2006 at 5:38 pm
does that matter if a frame looks goo
course not it matters on how good it rides mooks
r gay btw
August 13th, 2006 at 6:03 pm
what’s the difference between these and the xsjados? except the color..
August 13th, 2006 at 6:18 pm
i dont know about other people but I need wheels in the middle (even if they never touch the ground) to roll over those random bricks sticking up out of the sidewalk.
August 13th, 2006 at 6:26 pm
the inner construction looks stronger then mooks construction, so thats better, but i cant say anything about material, but yeah it looks like over worked version of xsjados…
August 13th, 2006 at 6:34 pm
these guys dont haf anything better to do thats why they had to copy some one else’s frame
August 13th, 2006 at 6:44 pm
Well,I have these frames, I do skate them with my basics, and I must say, really really impressive, I like them, for what they are capableof, and how good they actually skate, nice to see all you haters out there can dis-like them already without trying them…I would love to see a pair on Haffey or Aragon, ohh how you all would bum them so much then…These frams are good, I have had no problems at all with them, not even when they were fresh…I would like to see more from them as soon as possible…I will be using them from this day forward…ohh look…everyone just called me gay for saying that.
August 13th, 2006 at 7:09 pm
i think they look sick, its always nice to see a really light frame come out, cause all the frames these days arent exactly light except xsjados and gcs
August 13th, 2006 at 7:23 pm
There is no need for another frame company. If you can’t find what you need in the frames already out, then you suck at rollerblading and need to move onto something else.
August 13th, 2006 at 7:28 pm
Xjsado was the inovator for freestyle frames. They virtually created a brand new market for it. Its like saying Roces and K2 copied Rollerblade to make inline skates.
but i must say that they do look very similar to the Mooks. they could ahve been a bit more creative, even their marketing strategy is similar with the oddly spelt name and all. would of been nice for them to be more creative.
they do look alot stronger though.
August 13th, 2006 at 9:55 pm
i find it kinda funny that in 1999 the whole “freestyle” frame thing would have never sold, but now because DL sells and skates them everyone is trying to hop on the freestyle train. sad just sad
August 13th, 2006 at 10:41 pm
hahahah i like how on their wbesite it says “unique/original grinding surfaces”
ya right.
August 13th, 2006 at 11:07 pm
they look like a better version of the mook frame , mook is a very fucked up frame btw , i bought a pair and it collapsed in a week , if theese are stronger and lighter i think they are really good
August 14th, 2006 at 12:04 am
if you try to say these are like mooks thats kinda like saying the new Ables are like type m’s….stop trying to compare things you have no knowlege in…
August 14th, 2006 at 12:51 am
I dont care how much people are going to hate we mine as well give these a chance and if they suck just dont buy them and we’ll have different frames in a longer while. Freestyle frames are very good for longer grinds or wider surfaces and my 50/50s lock in 5x better than my old GC Hi Los. I wonder how they look on xsjados and other skates because mooks mostly look shit on everything except xsjados.
August 14th, 2006 at 12:52 am
wow nice! i hope they do a black one so i can order frankies boot only and dash those on :D
August 14th, 2006 at 12:56 am
xjsado rip off… no chance. TRUST FRAMES rip off, definatly. :P
August 14th, 2006 at 1:56 am
amen to that frailey
August 14th, 2006 at 2:57 am
i dont agree Frailey, there’s a big difference between the two, the fact that the h-block has a completly diffent concept in each frames, plus the shapes are different.
these are so simlar to the mooks in everyway its scary.
August 14th, 2006 at 7:13 am
THAST FUCKING GAY XJADO TAKING THEM TO COURT KINROL HAD THE FRAME DESIGN BEFORE DUSTIN DID FUCKERS
August 14th, 2006 at 7:41 am
yeah, kinrol buttfucked me with these frames waaaay ages ago, while we jacked off to Dustin’s mindgame sextions….. god damnit!
these frames are gay_buy em!

Te is magyar lenni????:D
szerintem a sín full xsjado utánzás…maradok a type-M -emnél XD
August 14th, 2006 at 10:47 am
i know the guy who designed it and he had plans for this frame before xsjado came out there were tons on prototypes made of it all the same shape but he changed loads of stuff so to make it perfect . i know it looks the same but as someone who skated both i can tell you there both very different thalchemy takes quicker to groove the xsjado the material is a lot faster the xsjado and the frames are much stronger then xsjado. we can all sit down and talk shit on the new frame but all valo are is a majestic boot with a skin so you could say there ripping of roces and 50/50 and kizer were virtually the same frame in apperance as well but they still skated different.
August 14th, 2006 at 12:09 pm
People keep saying that these are Shadow rip offs….When will you all realize that XSJADO SUCKS ASS? They cant even spell their own name right for gods sake….
August 14th, 2006 at 12:29 pm
listen its like nething ,it progression and thats what there doing there taking sumthing n making it better whats wrong in that ?and if you like wheels in the middle dont but them fuking frames simple.
August 14th, 2006 at 4:16 pm
i got them through today… and i can say they are 10 folds better than mooks.. the grinding surfaces have a reason… i did a drop in the frames which i did a year or so back on some mooks the mooks snapped. theses were the latimer mooks btw… the alchemy frames did not snap. they slide better, look better and skate better… i fucking hate freestyle frames now anyway so im giving them to my friend. but these are by far more superior to the xsjado mooks.
August 14th, 2006 at 7:26 pm
kin had the design before xsjado so plz stop saying that they copied xsjado
August 14th, 2006 at 10:00 pm
combination xsjados and able freestyle frames
August 15th, 2006 at 5:35 am
Shane Coburn should be furious…
August 15th, 2006 at 12:38 pm
I’m happy to see that there is a new company here in europe.Don’t say it’s a copy because the KIZER freestyle frames, the Xsjado Mook frame and the new able frames are always the same thing, just different brands.
August 15th, 2006 at 4:06 pm
OMG why is everyone comparing them to the mooks, the design and colour is different, yeah the shape is simillar but the grind area is completly different from the mooks.
look closer, they are stronger and lighter and a better design.
and xsjado are so stupid if they have taken this to court
August 16th, 2006 at 5:51 pm
i love Xsjado i mean Alchemy frames
August 16th, 2006 at 9:58 pm
if xsjado take ‘alchemy’ to court thats just pointless for the rollerblading comunity its just uneeded hate and giveing xsjado more money to make crap frames with!
August 17th, 2006 at 1:48 pm
do you think stateside, the best selling skates in the uk, would have thrown all this money at the project without checking out the legal side of things. Oh and you internet dwelling rollergeeks are dumb
August 18th, 2006 at 1:56 am
the crucial differences between this frames and the mooks are 1) having a sharp angle in the middle of the grinding area and 2) loads of internal bracing. Basically this is a Mook without the problems: it locks on because of the sharp angle and it won’t snap because of the bracing. Surely improvement on an old design is a good thing?
August 18th, 2006 at 3:34 pm
just another mook nock off
mooks r prolly better
if any freestyle frames get kizer
these wont sell
August 19th, 2006 at 5:27 pm
i dont know i actualy kind of like them. they r way to much like mooks but mooks were good frames so why wont thes be. plus the have proboably made them skate different from mooks or else xsjado would have already sued them to fucking hell
August 20th, 2006 at 3:57 am
everyone is right they look just like the Xsjado’s 1.8 frames
August 20th, 2006 at 9:22 am
so r they good or not??????????????????????????????
August 20th, 2006 at 9:24 am
blarg honk honk blarg? blarg!!!! honk honk….blarg………….. honk honk.. blarg!
August 20th, 2006 at 2:46 pm
just a nother copy of xsjado and fifty fifty core frames
August 21st, 2006 at 11:33 pm
hahahahaha “I heard xsjado were taking them to court”…
stop making up bullshit
stop judging these frames by how they look
go back to be-mag
August 26th, 2006 at 12:24 pm
i went and got these a week ago and i.m never leaving them the ridge nakes farves and touques so easy 2 lock on. my verdict go get sum!!!!
August 31st, 2006 at 4:50 pm
I dont think they are copying mooks. all there doing is trying to improve on a great idea. Why would you talk crap about a frame that is lighter than all other frames. Its an engineering advancement. All the people who are too blind to see that its evolution of rolling. People will be a able to jump a little higher, or combo a little faster. Dont hate!!!!!!!!!!
September 4th, 2006 at 4:05 pm
i fink they r cool
September 12th, 2006 at 7:36 pm
you guys that disagree couldnt be more wrong. It dont mater that they look like xsjados or not they are a different design. look at all the skates, they all pretty much look the same. im sure that they skate hella clean. NO MORE HATE
September 17th, 2006 at 1:32 pm
best frames ever skated makes my mooks 1.8 feel liek bricks they go well with my basic and stockwell boot ^^
September 17th, 2006 at 9:04 pm
will have them soon enough >.
September 17th, 2006 at 9:19 pm
OMG these frames are amasing, i want to get some and i cant belive some stupid people are saying there a rip-off of mooks, the frames are better quality, dont look like bricks, cheaper, look MUCH better and most of all they look amasing to grind on.
I have a set of Alchemy 57mm wheels and they are better than ANY other wheel on the market, they are long lasting, look cool and they are durable!
in my opinion, Alchemy should go ahead and make more frames, and Xsjado taking Alchemy to court is a load of poo.
December 2nd, 2006 at 8:13 am
so if this was skateboarding yeah then every time a new deck comes out you fags will be like “OMFG RIP OFF OF BLIND DECKS” and alchemy were out before xsjado and you can see this guy aint just thought “yeah ok so we will take this frames and cut a huge chunk out, dont matter if they snap aslong as ppl buy em xD” nah not this frame look at the workings its durable to fuck
January 3rd, 2007 at 12:36 am
I bought these frames as soon as they came into the UK and they are amazing. there very light and suprisingly very strong. The only thing they wernt to good on was ledegs but the ledge i skated in them was shit and had chunk sout of it and stuff so that could be the reason. anyway. In my opinion they are better than mooks because of the way they are made it makes locking into certain tricks such as tourqes easier. I would advise ya’ll to go out and get some. dont knock it till youve tried it.
P.S on rails they kill any frame ive ever skated since there not the fastest frame ive ever skated but its deffinately not the slowest so its a very happy medium
January 4th, 2007 at 7:14 am
count me in im in the process of ordering a pair now, everyone has a right to have an opinion and some like that design some dont.
April 27th, 2007 at 5:44 pm
nothing like xsjados, xsjado frames has a flat edge.
no one whos actually tried alchemy dislikes them, people who try xsjado DO dislike them. im gonna buy these.
also, how the feck is the alchemy logo like the xsjado one?
October 22nd, 2007 at 6:04 pm
Alchemy vs. Xsjado Mook vs. Kizer M Type vs. Able E3 Freestyle vs. Fifty/50 Core
It’s almost the same features and that’s the reason why I’m still sticked to Ground Control Dual Injection frame. The grind plate of the Dual
Injection GC frame is made of a new UHMW material for super fast
grinding speed. It also offers multiple rockering options from flat to
anti-rocker and high-lo. A new 42 mm GC grind block wheel was
specifically designed for the Bullet 8 frame series. All wheels come
with super sturdy 8 mm axle bolts and metal rockers. Also for the first
time GC releases frames colors gold and silver, which are perfectly
complimenting many of the new skates on the market.
October 22nd, 2007 at 6:10 pm
Fucked! Fiziks are the best frames ever built!
March 2nd, 2008 at 4:23 am
all the haters… shut up, ill tell u y, me and my friend are using alchemy wheels for 18 months still almost new mine are still as fast as most new wheels, there 94 a but they grip VERY WELL and they absorb shock and are hands down the best wheels on the market and 20$ us for 4 talk about yuks for bucks
September 30th, 2008 at 1:32 am
these frames look sick as hell. the look muck better than the mooks or any other freestyle frame.
how they ride i cant say.
December 2nd, 2008 at 9:53 pm
i hate this company fo some reason?
they have taken XSJADOs idea….i love the xsjado frames (although they could be moe durable)
