though UPS is a fortune 100 company, no skateboarding company is even on the fortune 500 list. which means that we must protect what we have even greater. I'm sorry for cursing at you but don't ever think that I know nothing about business. I own three different companies outside of blading. and they're all very successful. I know numbers and I know profit. I also know dangers when i see them. If a competitor is trying to sale something that is of low quality and at a cheaper price, solely cause the price is cheaper, he'll take away up to half your sales, the other half know that your product is better. Once the half that left realize that the product they now have is shit, you'll be lucky if 25 % of them come back to you while the other 25% are no longer interested in you or your product and have moved on. This company will do just that. Take maybe half of our sales in new skater profits while producing the shittiest skate ever made. with half of maybe 50 mil taken away leaving us only 25 mil. how do you think those companies are going to to with only a fair share profit margin of maybe 4 mil each skate company and dilute that down to the hardware and software companies. You're looking at maybe a cash flow of only 3 mil to each company if there's no other companies coming out, Oh and let's not forget that Tom Hyser has been talking about his brand new skate coming out for a while now. This industry needs to make it impossible for any company that has any affiliation with skateboard sales to never get in. It's too tempting to take away our profits and use it towards their needs.

Let's see. You're talking about two different things dipshit. 2 years ago the national report for inline sales was around 17 million while skateboarding was at 11 million. let's talk those numbers. the actual sports. not Fucking UPS you dipshit. It only takes 1 weak link to destroy a chain. 17 million by $200 per skate is 3.4 billion dollars a year. you dumb fuck. yes more boards are bought per year, cause they're so easily broken, but never the less more skates are bought when a kids foot grows or he breaks his skates somehow. or simply cause a newer better model comes out. out of that aggressive may take up maybe 20-30 percent of the market. which still leaves us at about 50 million easily per year worth of sales dollars that I"m sure a skateboard company would love to get their hands on even if it's just a little bit, considering that they'd be targeted towards first time users that number must grow way more than any of us realize.

um, dirty,
100 million is nothing. skateboarding is a 2 BILLION dollar a year industry.

UPS (the company that delivers your skates to you) did $47,547,000,000 in total revenue and profited $4,202,000,000 last year. This is only one company, think about how much the whole package delivery industry made. You clearly have no idea what big money is. It is not wise to talk about a subject such as business when you have no clue what you are saying.

easy. We are still a high money market. You may not think it. but rollerblading is still a high profit industry. Watch barely dead. It talks about how much this market makes. OVer 100 million. aggressive skating is a small part but in france every thursday or friday over 50000 bladers come out to skate. That's huge marketing potential. 50000 times 200 bucks. it's over 1.2 million right there. that's in 1 location. Also they know that the aggressive side is super small compared to the rec/fitness side. How better than to make a shitty skate that pretty much guarantees people who use their skates will stop using them but only after they've bought a pair and by then the sale is too late, you've bought their skate and they've been paid to fuck us up even further.
