i dont see how this guy over uses photoshop, i mean all he has done is darken the edges of the photos. i dont mind light alterations in photoshop with levels, brightness, contrast, etc but creating an image in photoshop isn’t right

First of all, thank you for your comments!
I shoot all my images in raw mode which means they are not altered by the
camera. If you shoot in program mode the camera adds contrast, saturation, white
balance etc automatically. So either way you do it, all photos are altered in one way
or another. I always play with contrasts and levels to make the photos pop, that is what
make them stand out from your average vacation trip photos. There is no reason to not
aim for the same level of quality you see in Daily Bread or other print magazines.
But then again, we’re all entitled to our own opinion :)
