Is that picture suppose to mean that freestyle rolling is a girl sport??? why isn’t the BMX or skate that is represent by a girl? I’m maybe paranoid but…

That shit is hillarious! If you go to the site there are links to skateboarding and BMX but Rolling or Rollerblading isnt even mentioned. The skateboarder or BMXer who came up with that design might as well just have given her a G-string
with cum dripping down her leg!LOL. No disrespect to Girl Rollers intended, but that flyer is a straight up continuation of the “X-games” bullshit! Fucking hillarious!

“Freestyle rolling” is a girl sport. Rollerblading is just represented by a chick.

trying to read into the meaning of the art is a waste of time. emailing the contest and asking about the lack of links to rollerblading is worthwhile though. Also, it would be worthwhile to send rollerblading videos to anyone you hear on the radio dissing on rollerblading as being gay based on what they’ve seen in San Francisco.

you could even say that, hey the girl is in front and all the other sports are just following — or yah.. she’s a girl and those guys will start rolling too cuz they want her - blah blah.. who cares.. let the skating represent the sport…

at least it’s not showing some fruity looking guy in neon pants doing a 2 foot mute air for once!

I think the fruitiest person on the pic still has to be the bmx:er cuz he looks like gut in his eraly forties still tryin to look hip and casual for the beach or sumtin, and at least the rollergurl has on xsjados so they have payed sum atention to our sport… anyway bladers never care what others think represent!!!

this could be the start of inline popularity coming back up. seriously female rollerbladers are pretty close in skill compared to men than any other sport. so if any female sport be picked for the games, I’d go with womens inline.

hopefully this will gain more popularity than xgames, because the year inline was dropped I got pretty pissed at ESPN.

um your wrong if you said there wasnt a link to rolling on the site their is but its off to the side of the page. THe English version of the site is a little out dated the russian version is up to date.

im guessing that the other sports paid sponsorship money and rollerblading did not because no company has any money to spare…thats the thing, rollerblading isnt everywhere it should be because rollerblading can’t afford to pay to be where it should be…

For christ skate don’t go all 1990s on rollerblading and shit. Just roll and shut the fuck up. We should all worry about improving our skills and spread the word as humbly as possible instead of getting paranoid about our image and the industry’s current state (Let the rollerblading companies figure that out). Whoever rollerblades just to please somebody should throw their pair away ASAP or face eternal damnation inside Satan’s anus.
