Although i’m a fucking hater, this edit was way better than the previous Aaron Pyle edit. That ‘skate take off’ thing was strange, but he (Tri Tri Rudolf) did some really good tricks.

Back in the day, when he did more traditional skating, Tri was like the Yoda of rolllerblading. He wouldn’t do much, but when he did, it stole the show. Make no mistake, Tri’s skills are ridiculous; he’s just taking a different path to his skating.
I saw this dude leap over a sidewalk and land a gigantic disaster topsoul on a dropped kinked rail during one of the early KYBs. Some serious ninja shit. And I think it was the only trick he did all weekend.

That was fucking RAD. You younger guys should try to understand that this is your roots. This is the type of stuff that will always spawn new tricks and styles. There are a few real gems in this edit.
Every trick you’re doing today was created by someone who decided to move differently and think of new ways to move their body on blades. Going to a spot that has been skated 1000x’s and finding a new way to skate it. Thats blading without pretentious nonsense or stigmas or insecurity. Much respect to you dudes.

gotta say never a fan of step ups and there was a lot. nor the skate taking off.
Also too many non legit cess slides…
some of the tricks felt forced(creatively speaking)
and some were out right stupid…

With Rollerblading, the possibilities are endless! This edit combines a lot of ideas where technical skating is concerned and smashes them all together increasing more possibilities. This was bound to happen. It’s like those skateboarders who decided to think outside the box and do “unskateboarder” like things and got flack for it. Years later some of those techniques were refined and praised. Take what you want from this edit. Rollerblading was never about accepting every idea wholesale. I am sure there was something in here for everyone.

Being 35 my skating is usually limited to short after work sessions right around the block so this video really appeals to me has I have to be creative to have fun skating the same crappy spots over and over.
Some good some bad in the video but some tricks are really really hard and technical and far more dangerous that a hurricane top soul in a skatepark. I’m not sure some of the hater realise that.
Any how this is kind of “Cirque du Sol Eh” 2.0. I liked it. I still love the “classical” tricks and video but this is refreshing to see people try new things

Fucking enjoyed this loads. It’s not the kind of skating I do, like I couldn’t cess slide this way to save a life, but so much fun to watch.
