Aaron was the shit. I remember the beginning of his decline when he lost the ASA street comp in Ft Myers Florida in 1998 or 1999. He ripped off an advertisement from one of the ramps. He certainly introduced hammers to rollerblading. A legend.

I had never seen this ad until now. Kind of a trip that he was at la all day last month. I didn’t get a chance to see him but my friends told me he was sporting facial hair. Friend went up to him and I guess asked him if he still skated. He apparently doesn’t rollerblade these days, he skateboards. Kind of weird, but hey I guess as much of a legend as he is, he probably did as much as he thought he was going to do. Hell that or all the injuries were starting to get to him. Just my guess though.

Pity Feinberg and Latimer have been unable to stay around and get a company going the way Shima and Elliott did.
Aaron and Dustin’s rolling complimented each other so well. Hammers and creativity.
Would love the guy to make a big ass comeback but it’s his life and rolling (even a lot of rollers) hasn’t always been good to the guy.
It sucks.

Skateboarding? Man, I sure hope he is reading this. Aaron, come back! Anyone ever hear anything about his brother Ruben? Remember him in the Battle My Crew videos? Maybe it was Hoax 5…it was one of those. At any rate…someone needs to get through to aaron…it is horrible that he does not have anything to do with the rollerblading industry. No offense on this because Brandon Smith is a cool cat and all, but he wasn’t ever Aaron Feinberg. If he can make it as a skater/owner, then it seems that Aaron should be able to make it. I am guessing now that Coburn is in with Xjsado and the conference, that pretty much kept Aaron away from doing anything with Coburn because he probably doesn’t want anything to do with the conference after getting dropped by USD. That’s another thing….thing about the fact that USD has dropped Rachard and Aaron within the last 4 years. There are some good skaters on USD right now, but there sure as hell aren’t any the league of those two. I guess the shit at Salomon, Senate, USD, and Mindgame, must have just been enough for him to say “fuck it”.

that’s the difference between skateboarding and rollerblading…
rollerblading companies like RB and USD don’t seem to understand the ‘star power’ that Aaron and Rachard had/have. skateboard companies sponsor guys that haven’t been able to impress for 20 years just for image.
skateboarding though? I mean whatever, he can do what he likes, but that means that I can do what I like, and what I like to do is rag on Feinburg for moving to skateboarding and then telling kids at a comp as much. lame.

but… on the one hand, he`s definitely one of the best skaters out there, was, and always will be… on the other hand… as a pro blader, its your job to skate, so if you don`t do anything for almost 2 years, i can see powerslides point in not wanting to pay him anymore. you just can`t lay back on being a legend… you have to prove that from time to time… just like haffey does

and he has always skateboarded since back in teh day – and bascailly amazing on it… he has a trick on a skateboard back in his standfast section… remember?

I was at a USD tour back in 2005 and he was in the skate factory in essen and did a rough fishbrain on that handrail.

Feinberg was soooooooooooooo ahead of this time I would like to see ANYONE dare to rough fish any rail let alone El Toro R.E.S.P.E.C.T. one of the elite few who truly put this sport on the map… I don’t give a shit what Aaron does with his life, but he will always have my respect.
