hi guys i want to know more about these skates i skated for a bit now and want something good.
My first skate were the cults solid skate liner not that great then i got the usd albert hooi i hate it the liner was a lot better but the skate fell apart.

So what skate should i get? i heard good things about boths skates i was thinking of xsjados to but i dont wanna risk it.

strange that your usd fell apart i have always gone back to usd after skating every skate brand on the market i love usd skates
    however
both skates are good solid skates.
however valos tend to come up small and are quite narrow fitting and ride slightly higher off the ground than most skates.
and the razors i feel that my heel lifts slightly and its quite a bulky skate.
when i had xsjados i loved them they feel completely different to other skates and skate really well super responsive to foot movement
but these are just my opinions
i have been skating for 16 years
right now im skating the all black usd carbon 3s and they are the best skates i have ever put on my feet if you can afford the price i highly recomend them

thank you very much for your respond yea what happend was the liner ripped and the cuff blots fell off i cant give a accurate review the skates r kind of to big for me i do have narrow feet so am fine if that i have one question though
i heard valo are softboot and razor and usd r not there hardboot so how does the softboot work how do i know if i will like them?
  4. k.r.u New Member

    the valo are not softboot.
its a roces majestic 12 boot with a skin over the top so its a hardboot also kinda look on the chunky side
depends what ur looking for in a skate
  5. simon_93 New Member

for me its all about comfortable so am geussing the softboot has more flex but wouldnt gaps be harder to land on a softboot?
  6. k.r.u New Member

like i said its not a softboot its a hardboot skate with a skin over the top.
maybe you should go for a razors sl boot its a better boot than the g.9 the new dre powells are nice i almost got them but the 8 was 2 small and the 9 too big for me .
loving my carbon 3 all blacks slimline skates much better than having bulk on your feet

valo lights are as close to a softboot skate youll get with valo and i must say they are a much better fit than the older valo. im not a fan of razor i cant seem to get the proper fit :-/ but tbh skates are skates its what you do with them what counts.... try a friends on first see if you like them.

do you know if the valo lights are diffrent from the tv2.5 i tried the valo lights and they felt really good but are really expensive

The razors SL skates are brilliant, but also quite a narrow fit
They were however the best skates I found for me personally and I tried pretty much
every skate available before settling on them.
Like has already been said, if you can do, try someone else's skates first to see how they feel before spending your money.

yes the valo lights are differnt from the tv2.5.
the tv2.5 is the roces majestic boot under the skin much narrower and shorter fit
the valo light is a carbon shell it is a much wider and longer fit i tried a 8 uk on but it felt huge on me more like a 9uk
and the tv2.5 in the 8uk is just too short in the length my toes are all cramped up
    but everyone is differnt
so the tv2.5 fits nothing like the light at all.
like the other 2 guys said best to try them on and just make your mind up for yourself

thanks for the reply i feet is kind of wierd because i have a shoe size 9 but i can fit into a size 7.5 xsjado the person at the store told me i should get a size 8 valo.
reason i dont want to get the carbon is there to expensive and i dont care about the weight and the valo tv 2.5 have the same souls.
In the store i tried xsjado and aragon 4 but the valo felt the best out of them.
they didnt have the valo 2.5 in store but on website i do have narrow feet so that is a plus.

i dont see how if ur a 9 shoes u fit in a 7.5 xsjado comfortably ?????? that stupid
just remember the light fits nothing like the tv2.5
  13. simon_93 New Member

lol i know like wtf i wear puma shoes maybe thats why and i live in canada and it feel like the shoe size is different.
I got 1 question so how do the lights feel diffrent from tv 2.5 ? the tv is narrow right? and the light is more of a soft boot?
  14. k.r.u New Member

no the valo light is a carbon fiber shell that is more open than the tv2.5 its a completely new mold .
the light has a wider and longer fit it has no toe box so the shell is more open around the toe area.
the tv2.5 is the roces majestic 12 shell it is a norower fit but also fits shorter in the length than the light.
    they feel completely different.
im a uk size 8 my carbon 3s are a 8 and fit me perfectly
the 8 in a valo majestic 12 shell are just 2 small for me in the toe area and the lights in a 8 feel huge they feel more like a size 9 or maybe even a 10 loads of room for my toes.
all valo skates use this majestic 12 shell apart from the new lights so i dont know if the shop has any other valos in stock that you could try

thanks again for replying i was wanting to get the carbon free havent tried them but i might go to the store again but do they last they look good and have good flex i heard but the skate doesnt look like it can last for long
  16. k.r.u New Member

    the carbon free valo?
    or the carbon free usd
  17. simon_93 New Member

    the usd carbon free
  18. k.r.u New Member

they are good and have good flex
a little to much flex for me
i didnt feel like they had enough support personaly and after skating for 15 plus years its something i need.
thats why i went for the carbon 3.
they last pretty well my friend has had his for a while now but it all depends on how much rolling around on the floor you do i guess.
but then again no skate is gonna look pristene for long in the type of rollerblading we do right?
  19. simon_93 New Member

i just dont know what to pick now its between the carbon free or jj lights?
  20. k.r.u New Member

if u can afford the jj lights why not go for the usd carbons
