naziism at its finest.
October 27th, 2009 at 4:09 pm
I wish I was there. Its getting better and better every year. Great job to everyone.
October 27th, 2009 at 4:19 pm
I’m liking valo more each day. not the skates, but the riders. so smooth, so full of control and steeze. that’s some shit right there!
October 27th, 2009 at 4:52 pm
that lol dude is negative dick isn’t he? nice comments asshole.
but aside from that – Haffey’s section was pretty sick, I just watched it back to back vs Broskow’s and while they are both amazing, like best ever, I think that Haffey had the edge with all the danger.
oh and Valo for Life – best skates I’ve ridden.
October 27th, 2009 at 5:00 pm
erik bailey just threw down big time i dont see much of him these days?
October 27th, 2009 at 5:04 pm
Results smell definitly shit… Even if Broskow is a good skater, and valo a good team… I’m wondering about USD and Julien Cudot or Nick Lomax or European skater…
Sorry I forgot that you can’t be on the list if you re coming from europe… but guy’s the level is not anymore in the US, open your eyes
October 27th, 2009 at 5:14 pm
results aside. Bailey fucking killed that rainbow extension. holy fuck
October 27th, 2009 at 5:19 pm
Pierre, I’m also from Europe but I don’t agree with you. The level is in fact generally higher in America, even if there are lots of talented European skaters – especially younger ones – that easily could win against all the American pros in comps. It’s not only true for Juul, Cudot and other European skaters, but also Kanashima (Japan) and CJ Wellsmore (Australia). So in all fairness I have to say that the future of rollerblading seems to be a more global process than it seemed only 2-3 years ago.
October 27th, 2009 at 5:28 pm
JULIEN CUDOT WON 1ST PLACE, FOR YOUR INFORMATION.
October 27th, 2009 at 5:35 pm
Broskow, Ross Kuhn and BSmith were interesting, the rest I can take it or leave it.
October 27th, 2009 at 5:48 pm
take in the facts broskow has given out a fair amount of footage this year more then any pro. he has won competitions and came top place if he hasnt won
broskows section blatently won for the creativity against haffey still doing the same old big gaps and same tricks.
how many people do you see rocking little things that broskow does compared to haffey.
and lets be truthful julien cudot is talented and has won but his style is still immature.
valo won team because they treat everyone on the team, they are welcoming and have done alot for the rolling community.
October 27th, 2009 at 6:31 pm
“how many people do you see rocking little things that broskow does compared to haffey”…..
how many people do you know that can skate the shit that haffey skates?
I think its well deserved that valo got team of the year, Jon and everyone else on valo works their asses off to get to where they are
October 27th, 2009 at 6:32 pm
oh yeah and i agree with ballog, Bailey killed that rainbow ledge, tru fish… cant fuck with that
October 27th, 2009 at 6:35 pm
B.smith fakie 7 was so stylish.
October 27th, 2009 at 7:02 pm
Broskow is creative no doubt, but that’s not to say that Haffey is ‘uncreative’ there was some killer stuff in that section of his that could be deemed as creative.
As for the Euros mentioned above, those guys are killing it, but they are all still park rats at heart – give them a couple of sections like these two have in the vault and we’ll talk.
Valo won not because of conspiracy but because they promote the sport like crazy, and represent like a family. You know, the new business model of Rollerblading!
October 27th, 2009 at 7:30 pm
bailey, what! sick dude. valo team is incredible. as far as section of the year, I disagree. should have gone to haffey or mark wojda.
October 27th, 2009 at 8:20 pm
valo skates look so clean on the pros, b smith broskow and kanashima were flawless. bailey killed the rainbow too. cant wait to see some other teams.
October 27th, 2009 at 9:08 pm
B.Smith got the Red Cool Snakes, them skates are SIICK!
October 27th, 2009 at 9:25 pm
F’kin bailey at the end there wtf.
And soichiro with the flips/spins/flatspins etc. crazy.
October 27th, 2009 at 9:38 pm
FUCK THAT
broskow should not get skater of the year…his section was garbage the tricks were fuckin easy as shit..haffey should have won that shit..his drip drop section was better than broskows 3 sections combined
October 27th, 2009 at 10:31 pm
haffeys section won hands fucking down… shit broskows section didnt even compare to haffeys section… lamefest
October 27th, 2009 at 10:41 pm
^^^I will have to aggree that Haffeys drip drop section was the best team section of the year if we are judging on amplitude:) If were judging on illusion spins then probably Browscow;) Bailey was beast as usual and Kanashimas fluidity on his lines and tricks are amazing in this clip.
October 27th, 2009 at 11:35 pm
ALL YOU KIDS NEEDA GET OFF BROSKOWS DICK!
Haffey is KING!

miguel ramos matandolos, puerto rico en la casa suckas!
October 28th, 2009 at 12:34 am
DL in the hall of fame..well deserved
October 28th, 2009 at 12:47 am
its because more people would rather see stylish controlled skating rather than a flailed out flatspin into a grind. its about steez, control, and technicality and vocabulary. most of these guys are all of this rolled into one (no pun intended)
October 28th, 2009 at 12:50 am
and im gonna go ahead and agree that haffeys drip drop section was hands down the best haha
October 28th, 2009 at 1:10 am
BSmith FTMFW! Smooth as syrup!
October 28th, 2009 at 1:25 am
Utah held it down pretty good in the AM contest, 3 local skaters placed in the top ten. Tad (3rd) harbor (8th) and “Emo” Zach (9th). Holla! woop-woop! HAHA
October 28th, 2009 at 3:18 am
miguel ramos is super sick!! and B’s cork fakie 7 was rad
October 28th, 2009 at 4:14 am
man there’s only like 10 people who voted on this shit. Don’t mean a thang!
October 28th, 2009 at 5:25 am
did they mix up the votes? Wasn’t this the result of the tight wearing team of the year? Come on valo, get some other types of skaters on the team. What happened to austin? Why is he never in the edits or on the tours?
October 28th, 2009 at 6:16 am
thats stupid that everyones on broskows dick because he made 3 sections this year…yeah ok..welll haffey made 2 of some of the best sections ever..broskows were just shit…i mean the tricks were creative but easy as fuck!
October 28th, 2009 at 6:19 am
remz should have got team of the year for 3 reasons..
haffeys section in drip drop
connor o briens 450 back royale at the end of the one dvd
and his backflip over the carlsbad gap..
no one on valo can fuck with any of that shit
baileys the shit though…
but i guess julio sucked some dick for team of the year
October 28th, 2009 at 6:22 am
i think the reason broskow won that was because drip drop didnt techinacaly come out till 2009
but i have no idea if drip drop still counted in 2008 for this vote, then thats fucked up haffey should have clearly won then
October 28th, 2009 at 6:25 am
bean unit are you fucking serious?
broskow got it for creativity and haffeys just doing the same old big shit??
ARE YOU FUCKING SHITTING ME
damn man just stop skating right now please
haffeys style is 10 times better than broskows
sure broskows creative but the tricks he does are really easy
haffeys the shit ,go suck a dick
October 28th, 2009 at 6:27 am
yeah man i cant believe some fucking grom said that about haffey either
October 28th, 2009 at 6:29 am
Congrats to Jon Julio and the rest of the Valo team.
Bailey and Alex rep hard as hell and make rolling look ill. They murk every spot they touch.
Still though, I’m surprised Haffey didn’t win best video section for drip drop.
October 28th, 2009 at 6:31 am
if i was going to show someone what rollerblading really is, im not gona pull out broskows section..to be honest that shit makes rollerblading look bad, now any of haffeys sections is fucking rollerblading
this whole fucking creative trend is fucking gay
October 28th, 2009 at 8:30 am
Yeah they deserve it. Both the team and the company are exceptional. I noticed B Smith is using his arms a little more, maybe he’s been reading the message boards ;)
What is the trick called that Soichiro was doing, looked like a backflip flat 540, or is there a name for it?
October 28th, 2009 at 12:22 pm
dude wtf are you talking about Remz didn’t bring out a vid . Valo did at every major contest that was edit worthy there was the valo team being there those guys are reppin for roller blading they have been tp each continent this year filming everything so jsut shut up they are cool could skaters they deserved this on , and if you don’t like it you should have sucked dick your self to get remz best team bitch
October 28th, 2009 at 4:51 pm
Anyone who knows anything about the Valo team would know that they don’t treat their riders good. Tory Treseder, Mike Martinho, Michael Braud, Sean Keane, John Starr… they’ve all been fucked by Valo. Stop riding Valo’s dick hard.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:52 pm
BS….
please elaborate.
October 28th, 2009 at 6:57 pm
hey mother fucker if you saw the one vid with connor o brien youd know what i was talking about poser
October 28th, 2009 at 9:00 pm
That yuto goto kid needs to break away from Soichiro’s nuts. he s an amazing rollerblader but EVERYTHING he does he does it like soichiro. he even wears the same clothes. shit is fucking wack
October 28th, 2009 at 10:43 pm
haffey drip drop

October 29th, 2009 at 1:43 am
all you kids on here are wack.
October 29th, 2009 at 2:39 am
Broskow deserves skater of the year. Haffey deserves best skater of all time. It’s not that Broskow skated better than Haffey this year it’s just that his style of skating has matured and evolved more uniquely than any other pro in recent years. You could say that he’s recently reached a peak in his level of skating (not saying that he’s limited from going further though).
Also, I hate to seem biased as an American but I just think that skating in the U.S. has more passion and maturity than European skating. It’s not just about difficult tricks. Part of it is the feeling you get when you see it. Like art and photography.
October 29th, 2009 at 5:43 am

“Anyone who knows anything about the Valo team would know that they don’t treat their riders good. Tory Treseder, Mike Martinho, Michael Braud, Sean Keane, John Starr… they’ve all been fucked by Valo. Stop riding Valo’s dick hard.”
Not trying to stir the pot but would like to know how those guys have been “F’d” over by Valo? I don’t follow everything up to date on rollerblading so could someone fill in please?
